  1. Still he is on another level compared to Howe when it comes to game management, changing tactics and doing proactive subs.
  2. By far the best goakeeper out there. Imagine having him instead of Pope/Ramsdale this season But yeah, he’s a prick 😄
  3. Time for those reactive subs. Striker for a striker and right winger for a right winger.

    Yoane Wissa

So far one of the worst players to pull the number 9 shirt in modern time. Up there with Dwight Gayle, Salomon Rondon and Joelinton (Joelinton the striker, not the midfielder). Hopefully he will come good at some point, but he should be the finished article at nearly 30.
  5. Villa are better organised, have better players and a better manager. Can’t complain really.
  6. Yes. Quite unbelieveable after losing 7 out of 21 league games. Hopefully we will stay there, but something has to happen. Everton away is the only comfortable match all season so far.
  7. And with a manager who so far is unable to find any answer. With a few exceptions we’ve been poor or very poor all season.
  8. Well, we’re not good enough to compete in three cups anyway. Might be a good thing this.
  9. We shall see tonight 😄 Everton didn’t manage to break down their low block on Saturday. If we turn up playing like we’ve done in too many away games this season we won’t either. Hopefully Eddie will finally make some much needed changes for this one. Hopefully starting both Wissa and Woltemade.
  10. They had an xG of 1.65 and 16 shots, but overall poor executed. Michael Keane in the Everton defence was outstanding tonight. If Burnley replicate this performance against us we’ll be in big trouble.
  11. I was at Turf Moor today. Burnley were rather good, especially in 2nd half. In our current state I can see them cause us all kind of problems on Tuesday. Draw at best, 0-0.
  12. Half the season gone and by tomorrow evening there is a good chance we’re 14th or 15th in the league. if this continues he’ll be gone next summer without a shadow of a doubt. A cup might save him.
  13. He deserves the whole season no matter what happens, but unless we win a cup he’ll be gone next summer if we finish ~12th in the league.
  14. Unless winning a cup there is no way he will survive finishing ~12th in the Premier League. And rightly so.
  15. Of course this is Eddie ‘Premier League proven players’ related. Should not be in charge of transfers going forward. Leave that to the Sporting Director.
  16. 1 shot on target during the last 145 minutes of football (overtime not included) against the likes of West Ham and Brentford. Truly rotten and hard to see a way out of this.
  17. Should have happened after West Ham. Problems stick way deeper this year.
  18. We’re now 14th after round 11. Fans of all top 6 teams from last season would start doubting their manager now. One can only hope there will be no knee-jerk reactions from the owners. Eddie deserves to be in charge throughout the season after what he has achieved.
  19. Come May they will all get replaced the way this is going. There is no way the owners will accept finishing in the bottom half of the table. I really hope he will turn this around.
  20. Burn is Howe’s first name on the team sheet. Unless he put him back at CB instead of Botman, Burn will continue at LB even when Tino and Hall are back and fully fit.

    Nick Pope

If Ramsdale doesn’t get the nod now he’ll never get it.
  22. 13th in the league after a quarter of the season played. He’ll be gone next summer if we’re still in that position come May. There are absolutely no excuses for performances like this, considering the money spent and the squad he’s got at his disposal. He deserves to be in charge through the season no matter what happens, but pressure on – and rightly so.
  23. Gabriel Obertan edition 2.0
  24. 2 wins in 10. Sort it out, Eddie.
