That is how shoulder charges occur. You cannot shoulder charge without that.

The only way it's a foul is if it's considered excessive force it would seem to me. It's shoulder to shoulder, it's playing for the space and within reach of the ball.

He doesn't kick him so it's only his shoulder and the rest of the body that collides (either as the shoulder does or after). I think if we're claiming challenges like this as definite penalties then we're gonna be seeing a lot more fouls given in the PL like.

Sorry mate but this is nonsense. The contact that is made is shoulder to shoulder. Whether he decides to tense his shoulder and engage in a legal 50/50 challenge is his prerogative. He didn't and the CB was stronger that's all there is to it.

I genuinely think people have lost sight of what the game is with VAR like and all this winning of fouls.

The Leazes Level 7 Corner was just an absolute crease. Songs like "Is it a bee or a wasp" to striped opposition in the away section was just sheer childish hilarity.
