People need to fuck off about cousin Howe like. Absolute skwegs. Our failed transfer policy that won us our first domestic trophy in 70years too get off the crack man.

Sahara Strepsils mate. It's the ultimate throat lozenge

But we do have Isak...

I think we should judge when the window closes, I get it mate, I honestly do. I just wanna look forward to the new season and not at the "maybes" that's all. Every man and his dog recognises us as a threat, I don't like giving the media a leg up.

I got some cheese coleslaw from Lidl last night as a desperate attempt to add something unusual to my sandwich and my tea. That gets my anger. Was like camel jizz.

We've won a cup, signed Elanga and sold Longstaff. Half the board would wank themselves silly for that last November.

Janet the tea lady stirred anti-clockwise like. Reckon she doomed us to relegation.

Why would you hate any of our current set up?! They just won us our first domestic trophy in 70 years.

Ultimately, it's FFP and PSR that is stopping us and having to ensure we don't give players too high salaries so that we can continue to invest in the squad. I suspect Isak wants us to invest in a playing squad that is capable of challenging for league titles and furthermore, in the not too distant future, on all fronts. We all want that from a footballing perspective. I'm sure Isak doesn't want anything other than that, and I'm sure he doesn't want to leave Newcastle, but instead wants to ensure he progresses both financially and through his own performance. That's my issue here. Our fans are in a frenzy from a load of tosspots trying to make their own coin out of the situation. I suspect that if we were to give Isak anywhere near the contractual demands being touted, it leaves less financial leg room to go out and invest in the squad, and we are likely trying to balance out what is better for the club as a result. One of the best (current) strikers in the world or perhaps 3 or 4 players that would bolster the overall squad. Can we run the risk of getting another year out of Isak whilst adding one or two, etc.? With FFP/PSR we cannot have our cake and eat it, like others have done before us. If you're Isak then you want you're situation resolving, the longer it drags on the more you push and so he has done, but has he really said or done all that bad? Newcastle won't sell him for anything other than the right price. His price will reduce, as will his options if he doesn't perform, and as will his subsequent salary. We hold the cards here not Isak. Liverpool will need to sell to buy him, and by the time they do so that leaves us less time to recruit, which suggests to me it won't be them. No one else in the league can afford him aside from perennial, financial squirmers Chelsea, but honestly, I'm not sure why he'd want to go there, that leaves say Barcelona (who cannot afford him), Madrid - who likely don't want him at present, PSG (which is probably a viable) option or Saudi and at neither of the latter he'd really be finding his top levels on a regular basis. PSG is the most likely option to my mind. All of the frenzy is about Isak saying he wants to keep his options open, of course he does, we need to match his ambition, but the reality is what can we match ambition with if our hands are financially tied. All other clubs know we're willing to spend so adding £10/£15m to any given transfer and hence it dragging out all summer. Our transfer business has been nigh on spot on since the takeover and Howe's employment, so whatever comes of this situation, I'll reserve faith. It's not what we want (our star striker leaving) but if he does there'll be a plan in place for sure.
