Can't imagine he would have sat on the bench and watched the match if he'd had bad family news tbf.
-
About fuckin time. What was Djiliboji doing there? He got away with one like that in the first half.
-
Stoke have been dreadful here, can't string two passes together, getting beaten to every 50-50 ball and woeful in defence for both goals.
-
They've been talking about this on Soccer AM this morning and phoned Shearer to ask him why it doesn't show his usual open palm celebration . Al said it was a reference to his last goal in football and they showed the pen against the makems and the subsequent finger point.
-
Full time. Nothing to worry about there from either team.
-
Ridiculous rule to be fair. Ok, the player should be booked if inciting opposition fans, but he was clearly celebrating with his own.
-
Every year the same old shit. Wanker Cram gets his little digs in about Newcastle and brain dead Bren hasn't got the wit to put him in his place.

Just came in to this news. Normally I'm not too bothered about this "good business" shit when selling players, it's only good business if the money is reinvested wisely, but £30m for Sissoko??!!
-
Mainly cos I'm pissed and on my phone. Anyway, dreadful tackle aside, he's not good enough is he?

I've not read every post but the majority just think he's a c*** and don't want him to sign. Valid and well thought responses, I think. Yep, that's the truth. There's a reason why most think this way, and I don't need to attach the requisite gif.

Wish I hadn't clicked that link. Never seen so many ridiculous posts in close proximity. How can our wage bill be an issue when we've shipped out the majority of our highest earners like Colo, Wijnaldum, Townsend, probably Sissoko and a whole host of other big contracts like Krul, Thauvin and SDJ? Do they not understand the concept of a squad and a need for rotation? Even from an objective point of view the only obviously s*** player we've signed is Murphy and as a backup in the Championship where he's scored goals isn't exactly a disaster for the nominal fee that was paid. Be interesting to see that "ins and outs" table they had on .com the other day and estimate the wages saved. I'm sure Ashley will be impressed and for once I won't be fussed, because of the amount of those players who've been stealing a living for years.

And our only defeats are the top two. And if we hadn't had a blind referee in the Fulham game, we'd have probably won that one, the Huddersfield game should have been drawn anarl. Not that we deserve to, but we could be easily sitting top of the league right now, without getting out of second gear

Fair enough. Moncur has always been a bit of a hero to me as he was our captain when I first started going to the match. Supermac was obviously the real hero to me at the time, but I always felt a little bit let down by the way he left us in his prime without winning a trophy. Moncur on the other hand actually won something pretty much single handed, with three goals in the two legged final and the Fairs Cup was a big deal in those days. -
This. Brighton were the worst, whingiest set of twats we've seen up here for some time, niggly little fouls and blatant play acting to win free kicks all afternoon.
-
If he can kick a ball straight more than ten yards, then he's better than Dummett. And I like Dummett.

In terms of what exactly? Moncur has tarnished his reputation in recent years due to his endorsement of the Ashley regime, but if you're going to use that argument, you'd better cross Beardsley off that list too. If we're talking purely on the field/ managerial accomplishments, then he's ahead of Supermac, no question. -

Pedant. -
Gravesen on Bernard still pisses me off more. Solskjaer on Rob Lee. Ok we got the foul and he was sent off, but the way the little shit was applauded off made my blood boil Thinking about it, we've had some atrocious decisions against us over the years , from completely indefensible tackles like McManaman's to blatant cheating such as Larsson's hand ball from Barton in that derby game.

If you're referring to my post, then no, you're wrong. If you're not, then no, you're wrong. And the bad things that may be (7 syllables) Isaac Hayden and Matt Ritchie (8 syllables) Fair enough, I'll bow down to your superior knowledge of poor quality 80s minor hits. -
Can see this being a rout, that West Ham team is AIDS. City win 4 - 0, Aguero hattrick.

Ok but doesn't scan. With the same players should be Let's talk about Selz baby Let's talk about Diame Let's talk about Jonjo Shelvey Isaac Hayden and Matt Ritchie. -
Fuck this commentator already. So our fans turn up, back the team and that's negative cos it puts the pressure on. If we'd turned our backs on them we'd have been accused of being fickle.
