Considering we've never played outside of the top 2 divisions in our 127 year history i don't think we'll have ever played in the 1st Round? Maybe in the old olden days potentially? Nope, we've never played in the first round of the FA Cup. 1924-25 looks like the last season the big clubs played in the first round. After that only the smaller clubs. Previously to this we had the same amount of rounds to get to the final as for the top teams now, but there was no fifth round or quarter final stage.
