Then people watch the games out of morbid curiosity, then people go to the games out of morbid curiosity... Not really Bet some will. Some of the comments on the chronic and Newcastle pages on facet are depressing. Full of ‘let’s get behind him’ crap

After that motivational speech I think people better rush to buy a season tickets quick before they sell out. Ah, so we're back to that agenda then. Little old Newcastle. Notwithstanding the enormous opportunity we've wilfully just refused. That’s pretty unfair on him. Look at the two lines after your last bolded line, pretty accurate I’d say.

I’m sure he’ll lose most games without even trying
-
Fair play He’ll have gone first class, not really a hardship Economy under Ashley. Definitely economy on a low cost carrier, might've been given a 5 pound meal voucher if he was lucky Full three seats, one for each arse cheek

Just had this from a very good mate who is in the last year of the 10 year deal: Discussed giving up the season ticket. I could quite easily, but the missus will want to go shopping on Saturday & I'll miss the day oot with the lads
-
He’ll have a fucking heart attack, nevermind cry

Nah, I think Carr will be in charge of that bit, Bruce is just there to make sure another 5th place Pardews fluke 5th place doesn’t happen

That’s me out. This is the last straw for me. Will follow what’s happening on here but I’m not watching another game until he’s gone. Back to being a yo-yo advertising board, buying young and cheap and selling on and just.....existing club. I really thought this summer we’d change hands. :'(

Just had time to listen, fair play to Chopra. Can one of you kind souls clarify something for me. Chopra said he had someone interested in buying the club, they spoke to Ashley's lawyer, and then what? What happened that made Chopra think (realise) he didn't want to sell the club? He said that the lawyer told him to tell the Saudi guy to fly over and meet him in London. I'm assuming there's more context to it though, as in it was said or done in a way that made him think twice. Interesting how Michael Chopra knows a rich Saudi though

Sorry Didn’t realise it was that one I’ll take the with the shame attached

What penalty miss?? Don't remember a penalty miss, but I do remember him missing an absolute sitter (or did he pass when he was clean though and could have shot) in a derby match playing for SAFC. Think his career there ended in that moment, much like Clarky and that T-Shirt. Yep clean through 1 on 1 for the mackems against us and just rolled it to no one across the box Remeber being there and seeing that. Exactly what I would’ve done. He may as well have just stopped and flicked the v’s to the mackems

Mark Douglas isn't bad tbh, the best of the local writers for me. There used to be a time when the local press would have given the owner of NUFC hell for taking the piss, but they seem to be practising self censorship these days. I'm not really sure why, not like Ashley gives them the time of day anyway. You obviously can’t remeber the Alan Oliver/Freddie Shepherd days then. You’re right with Douglas though, he’s fair most of the time

Possibly something in this one. Will find out more. Wouldn’t be surprised if a few people had got in his ear and told him some home truths about us. The fact that he’s taking training etc would suggest he’s had second thoughts

If that’s not sarcasm then fuck right off
-
Sunderland They sacked Bruce
-
The reaction to Bruce on here shocks me, if it’s like that on here then the normal morons will love him. 45000 for the first game, let’s get behind the lads. Bruce is part of the fucking problem. It’s not fucking difficult
-
I'm not sure I agree with that. He's putting himself in the firing line if/when it doesn't work out, but he doesn't deserve abuse for simply accepting the job, because let's be honest nobody else is going to and we do actually need a manager by next month. Respect your opinion, obviously but I completely disagree with you too. Would you take it under Ashley? Would I take the opportunity to make myself filthy rich managing the football club I love? Aye, I probably would to be honest mate, I'm not going to lie Nah, that’s a shocker of a post. No way.

Will probably be backed more than Rafa and allowed to buy a load of shit. It will be like McClaren with the club buying players recommended by the scouting team that fit MA's preferences i.e. younger players He is coming in because he has agreed to work under this remit. Mike Ashley does not value managers, and thinks that he has relationships that can get him younger talented players good enough to keep the club up, and anyone can just supervise them. Yep, he’s McClaren MkII. We’ll be in the bottom three come February-March. We’ll be in the bottom three after the first game and that’ll be it
-
Fuck off. He’s part of the problem he deserves to be hounded out as much as Ashley as the place is burned to the ground

Why do people say this? Ffs I know we shouldn't slag off the match-going support but every reason presented as one for attending is either misguided or put forward out of sheer defensiveness. It's selfish and ignorant as fuck. I fucking hate them. Why should the rest of us put up with this shit because some people can’t bear being near their partners on a Saturday?
