Need Switzerland, Croatia and France to sort themselves out.

There aren't too many players I have a distinct dislike for, but I would never tire of smashing Van Persie's face in. Odious cunt.
-
Thought he played well today tbh. Delivery was better, competed well in the midfield when we went 4-3-3.

Cool £108 quid won today

 Surely this can't be true. We can't go from a big, respectable company like Virgin, to fucking Wonga  The shirt I could just about take, but not the stadium, not the fucking stadium man.

Can you imagine if Sunderland didn't have Mignolet?

That defending

Decent performance, very impressed with Ferguson and Cabaye looked good too. A little annoyed with Cisse, if he could manage to stay onside he could have had a bagful.
-
Sunderland on last. Magedia.

It took Motson five seconds to mangle Bigirimana's name

Ferguson

If they're fit play Colo and Cabaye. Also play Ben Arfa and Cisse, if we play a weakened team against these we'll get beat. Marseille, Lyon and PSG are already breaking away from the rest in Ligue 1, and as a result this lot will treat this competition seriously. They've yet to lose so far this season, but play Lyon on Sunday and have drawn 4 of their six games. Injuries haven't helped but their back four isn't great and has a tendency to concede sloppy goals. Yoan Gouffran and Ludovic Obraniak, if they both start, are definitely the ones to watch, and whoever plays LB will have his hands full with Henri Saivet who has been impressive on the right flank so far. I'd take a draw, but I'd rather we went with a relatively strong line-up and stopped treating the competition like a hindrance rather than the major trophy that it is. Decent display. Really impressed by Tavernier, was excellent on both flanks. Ferguson was superb when he came on and Cisse should have his confidence back on the back of that goal.
-
The double foul on the ref
-
Jonas' facial expression when Cisse misses.
-
Fucking hell I wish we'd signed Vertonghen, so good then going forward.
-
Cabaye couldn't hit a barn door today. His shooting was very wayward. Aye, but he's supposedly decent from the spot.
-
Cabaye took penalties for Lille, wouldn't mind seeing him have a go. I don't think any of our strikers, Shola aside, are reliable when it comes to spot kicks.
-
Decent performance, didn't need to be as nervy as it was at the end, but the result is obviously the most important thing. Harper 7 Perch 7 Willo 6 Saylor 6 Santon 7 HBA 8 Anita 6 Cabaye 6 Jonas 6 Cisse 6 Ba 7

Will have been a decent week if we beat Norwich, we won't be able to play such a scratch side against Bordeaux though, well unless we want to get humped.
-
Elliot 7 - Some fine saves. Perch 5.5 - Poor, though he was probably fucking knackered from Monday. Williamson 6 - Dodgy at times but mostly solid. Taylor 6.5 - Assured. Santon 7 - Gave us options going forward and defended well. Obertan 5 - His first touch is always exquisite, its everything afterwards that is the problem. Bigirimana 7.5 - Allowed them a little too much space early, but was clearly our best player by the end of the contest. Class. Gosling 6.5 - Unlucky not to score, worked hard in midfield. Vuckic 5 - Offered little before coming off. Amalfitano 6 - Offered good delivery and looked composed on the ball. Shola 7 - Mark would be higher but I'm quite irritated with him for not fucking scoring. Sammy 5 - Sorry but I don't rate him at all. Really poor on the ball and no better than Obertan from wide areas. Ferguson 5 Marveaux 6 - A higher mark just for that delicious ball to Sammy late on.
