Year after year And if we're going on last season its pretty clear from the fact we scored 6 goals in both games to your 2 that yes we do have the better defence, yes we do have the better midfield and yes we have the better strikers. Gyan is a quality player but its worth taking into account that for how ever good he is in all competitions last season he only scored one more goal than Shola.

4 years for a 31 year old is ridiculous in any case, but for fucking Wes Brown! They've made solid signings overall, Gardner and Larsson are good players. O'Shea is versatile even if I don't particularly rate him, the Korean guy I know next to nothing about and Whickham is a fantastic talent but there's no way they'll be able to keep hold if he fulfills his potential. Basically they've made signings to stay where they are, they aren't players that are going to significantly improve them in any way.
