I'd say you're right about Shola, who can be a decent targetman when the light flickers in his brain for a game every now and then, normally against you lot which is handy. However, I'd say Best is more mobile and although he holds the ball up well he's a decent finisher and has a good cross on him. Lovenkrands is just shite but somehow manages to score every now and then and Ranger while showing promise just doesn't look to have the mindset. Ba is a necessary signing but we now need a pacy striker for him to play off. Ba, another new striker and Best as our top 3 strikers would be ok. We'll never see the back of Shola so Im sure he'll get a few goals next season as always.

I'd be fucking gutted.

I'd say its worthy of a Good target man who bagged a fair few goals for West Ham. Will be decent for us if he stays fit.

Don't know much about his injury record, but after watching him and the Swiss midfield overrun England I'd say he's certainly worth a chance.

I'd have Barnetta like, seems a cheaper alternative to Zoggy.

sounds like hard bargaining from our lot, hope it works. reading between the lines, looks like he prefers us but we're playing hard ball over the agents fees and they've set up everton as an alternative to try and make us pay up. not sure it'll work though as i get the feeling ashley wants us to have a reputation for not bowing to things like agents fees. Probably one of the few situations where Ashley holds the moral highground. possibly, i'm not altogether sure morals have anything to do with it though Well highground nonetheless, he's right not to give in to their ridiculous demands.

Hate to see good players linked to Liverpool. And #NUFC - don't sell. Why would Liverpool's interest in Clichy force us to sell? We don't have to sell. Depends on Enrique, and if we actually want money for him. I'd rather keep him, push up the table and convince him to stay, but I'll rephrase, why do we have to sell to Liverpool? Only ones who's willing to pay somewhere near what we're holding out for maybe. I don't know. Hope to God it doesn't happen. You and me both.
