  1. Cracking through ball for the Cisse goal/none-goal, but aye let's sell him.
  2. Agreed. He's all talk but little action. Totally, if we stop up we should offload him. He has been shocking and not bothered his arse one little bit fighting for the cause. Christ, it really is getting like RTG in here. If Cabaye had been fit all year we'd be nowhere near the bottom three.

Don't think we'll go down but wouldn't surprise me by any means. Think we'll scrape past QPR and that will be enough. Can't see us getting anything from the other two games like. Horrendous season, just want it to be over.
  4. Ba aside, it's Cabaye. By a long way. Scored a good amount of goals from midfield, played killer passes at important times and we'd probably be a little bit further up the league if he'd been fit all season. We'll be lucky to hang on to him next season.
  5. Elliot Debuchy Taylor Yanga-Mbiwa Haidara Anita Cabaye Sissoko Ben Arfa Cisse Gouffran
  6. Was an amazing finish. Should have just gave him it. For any player its a good finish, for a centre-half it was unreal.
  7. Coincidentally PSG were absolutely excellent tonight. The Thiago Silva disallowed goal is a must see.
  8. If we were to go French, and it would be a real gamble, then the best one that is set to be available is Rene Girard. He's foolishly being let go by oafish club boss Louis Nicollin despite leading a team of misfits and youngsters to the Ligue 1 title last season and keeping them in contention for Europe this term. He has reportedly said that might be it for him in terms of management but a chance in the PL could potentially lure him. I don't think he speaks English but would already have a relationship with MYM and could potentially bring the likes of Younes Belhanda or Remy Cabella with him. It would be a massive gamble as I said, but Blanc would want CL football, no doubt about that, and I think Garcia is pretty committed to the project at Lille.
  9. Howay then, I'll start one. Let's move on! Been to the Hawthorns a few times this year for work, they're decent but not much different to last year aside from Lukaku. Stop him and we can get something I think.
  10. A black day for the club, a completely spineless performance on the pitch and completely embarrassing scenes off it. In terms of the actual game we never got going and were second to every ball. Our passing and link-up play was nothing short of abysmal and the complete lack of ideas in front of goal was completely startling. There can be no excuses made for such a gutless display, we may have been tired but the lack of motivation on show for one of the biggest and most important games of the season was utterly baffling. Pardew has to take 100% of the blame, the decision to play Gutierrrez at LB was a disaster and the decision to bring Cabaye off instead of Tiote was mystifying. Despite the debacle we will probably just about stay up, but that is far from good enough with this crop of players. If you include Taylor there were 9 full internationals in the starting line-up for us today and yet they played like complete and utter strangers, that is not acceptable and Pardew's inability to guide such a squad to at least the top half - even in spite of the Europa League fixtures - should spell the end of his reign at the club. Of course it won't do and that is what is most worrying about the current situation at the club, under Pardew we will continue to stagnate and although we clearly have the ability to lure decent talent from France/Holland, it is difficult to see these players staying at the club for longer than a few seasons at the most. It's time for the hierarchy to define what the club's actual on the field ambition is, yes we're a profitable business but if all we're going to be is a feeder club for others then what exactly is the point? We haven't come close to winning anything since the FA Cup/Uefa Cup run under Souness, and that doesn't look like changing any time soon. Still, perhaps more worrying than such a disappointing and disillusioning performance is the actions of the minority which have dragged the name of this club through the gutter on what was already an awful day. The scariest thing, as people have pointed out is the age of the lunatics that took part in those utterly disgraceful scenes, none of them are old enough to remember the old days, and although I didn't experience what went on in the 80s, I, like most of us, were brought up correctly and have always known how to behave at a game. These cretins don't seem to possess the same moral compass, and believe it is somehow acceptable to bring shame to their city and the region because a team of 11 men - deservedly - lost a football match. Yet it is us, the ones who stayed throughout the entirety of that shower that will be tarred with the same brush as this lot and that is the great shame of the whole day. The club now need to sit down and do two things, firstly ban these absolute c***s from attending a game at our magnificent stadium for as long as possible, and secondly seriously consider where they want this club to go, if they actually want to back up the largely excellent work they have done and establishing this club as a secure, financially viable institution with actual footballing success, then it is most certainly time that Pardew was shown the door. Sadly that won't happen anytime in the near future.
  11. Those scenes at the end man, unreal. Sounds slightly cliched but that has always been the difference between this group of players and the lot that went down in 09. They clearly care so much and it is evident with their application and desire not to give in. Happy to see Pardew showing it in such extravagant fashion, I'm not his biggest fan but very nice to see a manager who has no prior connection with the club or the area build a connection and a love for the place. Hopefully now we can push on a little and enjoy the last few weeks of the season whatever happens in Europe.
  12. Was brilliant when him and Lawro commentated together. Always got the feeling Lawro was thinking what the hell are you saying. Both should have retired long ago. Motson because he's s**** and Lawro because I'm not sure how he manages to motivate himself to get out of bed in the morning. I'm sure that million pound a year contract that some fuckwit at the BBC gave him is good motivation for Lawro. You'd think so, but the miserable git seems to have forgotten what a smile is. Fucking Shearer man, got a personally signed photo of him in my room. Shame he's become a bit of a joke instead of just fading gracefully out of the limelight.
  13. 3-0. Rarely make predictions but think we'll do it.

  15. Canny goal that from Mirallas.

  17. Motson once again surprised that someone has scored a goal in a game of football.
  18. Is it just a PDF file? I'll buy it tonight, give me something to read over my dinner tomorrow Yeah mate just a PDF.
  19. Didn't realise you worked for FFW... explains how you knew so much about Haidara ! Aye, had kept an eye on Massadio for a while. No surprise to see him settling in quite well until he got pole-axed by that Wigan cunt.
