Sorry, wasnt old enough. we palyed spurs in the 5th round of the cup (i think it was) and how a sim ilar thing didn't happen is beyond me. can't remember if it was all ticket (i had a ticket for the seats). I had to stand on top of a fence to watch that match, thhe whole fence had fans along it, just hanging on to watch. it was packed, went with my dad, but lost him in the shoving, seem to remember, a barrier comming down,+ the corner that was kept clear for segregation being opened to toon fans, as they were paying on the gates. over 12000 crammed into the away end. The spurs fans in the shelf, were throwing the bolts out of the seats at us.

responding to HTT's post - you can see why keegan left and how bad the working relationship was just from the juvenile press releases at the time, the "it is a fact" one specifically. There were also leaks to the press that tried to do a hatchet job on Keegan while painting in the club in a good light, which just backfired and made the people in charge look clueless and puerile - rubbishing plans to sign the likes of Dunne because he has no "resale value" and admitting that other board members referred to "the madness of king kev." The amazing thing is that the club actually thought childish shit like that would impress us. in reality they were digging their own grave. goes without saying that the club has been ran terribly since then. i dont know how much relegation will cost us £3o million ish,.. if they had left keegan in charge, and give him that 30 mil,.. i believe we would be sniffing round europe, and Ashleys asset would be appreciating,.we would be watching exciting attacking football, What a fucking mess Ashley has made, it would have been cheaper to back keegan, you fucking fuckwit. indeed. its amazing,.... sell best players, buy cheaper ones, appoint a unqualified man to manage an experienced one. Let experienced man leave,..appoint an old man with a poor sickness record. When he is ill, allow inexperienced people to run things,get relegated.

and with our record this season it's unlikely we'll get 100% from all the games we expect to pick up points in. just takes one decent defensive display from a team like fulham, or a flukey counter attack from boro, and we're virtually relegated. taking this into account we have to pick up some unexpected points along the way, starting against chelsea. saying things like "well we didn't expect to get points here so why is everyone upset?" as a couple did after the arsenal game just isnt good enough any more. regardless of them games, i think if we lose to chelsea and stoke , we will be gone. At that stage we will be more than 3 pts adrift of safety, so even if we win, we stay in the bottom 3,..thats why i think we are going down.
