  1. i've gotta say like, if he'd not scored in the first half i'd have taken walcott off at half time, after seeing how rubbish his touch was / how much he was running about like a heedless chicken in the first 15/20 minutes or so. he proved me wrong lol.
  2. some people really do have too much time on their hands... that said, when i was off work i sent an email complaining about the dfs ad with nickelback on saying it was cringeworthy and put me off ever buying a sofa there ... didn't do much good though
  3. oooh fuck! aye, selling milner and not bringing anyone else in was such a brilliant idea
  4. yup, suffice to say he'll not be getting an invite to white hart lane anytime soon. at least you'd think..
  5. seemingly so, west ham lad i believe , although they still hate him for the man united shirt thing
  6. so .cock can run a hilarious little article entitled "When 'Zico' met Zico" whereby they have the Zico and Mick Martin standing side by side holding up Newcastle shirts somewhere inside the Milburn Stand, and a few meaningless quotes from either. Craig Hope might even be able to drag it out into a video interview for nufcTV. i actually nearly did spit coffee all over the monitor laughing at that!
  7. if he got fit and we could put together a rolling pay-as-you-play sorta deal i'd say go for it, as an impact player
  8. well if maradona wore a brazil shirt for a tv ad, i don't think they would be too fussed at zico in charge lol
  9. well if the system stays as is and ashley still owns the club, how about getting zico and poyet as his assistant? poyet could liase between the wise crew and zico
  10. i can see why deschamps might want to wait around for the france national team job, domenech's not been the greatest france manager like, i think he only got kept in the job after the euro's cos no one else seemed to want it in france
  11. i'd prefer zico of the names bandied about, i know rijkaard did a great job at barca for a while but when i think of him it goes .... holland....milan.....van basten....gullit - sexy football. and then come the flashbacks!
  12. i'm sure poyet is a good coach but i'd rather have zico 'in charge', mostly cos he's not dennis wise' bumchum...
  13. definitely not yesterdays man, i think just the wrong people at the top of the club. nice way for dennis wise to pay him back for his england re-call after 4 years in the wilderness. cunt!
  14. aye, but if he sold owen, barton and given on deadline day we'd nearly be left with a 5-a-side team. with goal machine smith and the fenham eusebio up front
  15. it's the fans of other clubs waffling on about keegan 'being a bottler' again that's pissing me off. can you imagine keane, o'neill, ferguson, redknapp laying down and taking it, not being pissed off if the same thing was happening at their clubs?!
  16. i couldn't see david o'bleary being happy with the transfer policy either tbh. he liked to splash the cash at leeds so i can't imagine he'd go for being the yes man not that we want him like...
  17. I can't see us accepting anyone called Marcelino anywhere near St James' Park! i'm sure someone told me the infamous broken finger marcelino is chief scout at liverpool now.
  18. yup, all the sunderland fans would go out and buy more of their umbro kits just to give ashley money to prolong his stay here if things went tits up
  19. couldn't have been working that hard if he had time to email sky sports though lol. or maybe he had wap on his phone and a decent signal up the top of the chimernee he was sweeping

    Team Selection

yup, on account of his non brazillian style set pieces lol. i'd go for ----------------given ----------------- beye ------ coloccini -------taylor--------enrique jonas ------ guthrie -------- butt/gonzalez------n'zogbia ---------------owen ----------------xisco / martins -----
  21. hehehe that would be brilliant. would be even better if mclaren somehow ended up in charge there
  22. i'd still take a punt on fatty ronaldo. he has a fantastic goals to games record and is the top aggregate world cup goals scorer. rather a punt on him than ameobi / smith imho
