not too keen on either of the villa ones tbh, i think the last one of their kits i liked was the 92-93 umbro / mita copiers old school style one with the lace up neck, that was a really nice shirt
-
well his brother was a knacker for a few years when he was younger too, drink driving, dodgy videos etc, but he matured into a world class defender, not saying anton will like but he'll be a lot better away from london i think
-
he's a decent keeper, had he moved on he may well have played for england, that said, i do rate given a lot higher, but harper is a damn good back up.
-
it's just irritating it keeps on happening, i know it should be like water off a ducks back but you never hear sunderland or villa or bolton or everton or anyone else having as much shit chucked at them in the press. it's sad that everyone likes a 'lets wind the geordies up' headline, seems to sell a lot of papers though

is that not florida print? near where argos was, and williams music store? they do some sort of vinyl printing there, might do the same font as the premiership one, don't know if they do the official numbers though. they do an unofficial england shirt one without the 3 lions badge on, i know that much. they don't do felt printing though, they were no help with my 'shearer 9' print for an old england shirt, so i don't know what you would do for the northern rock logo. that juve one really reminds me of west brom, with the thick stripes

from what i've seen of him he does seem to be a decent defender, very highly rated at the stadium of light
-
i liked acuna, i thought he did well but as stated circumstance took him away. he did look like a furby though hehehe
-
it does look wrong without abn amro, or tdk going further back

sonny pike ... wiki says... Sonny Pike was an English footballer who became famous at a young age for his tremendous talent, which saw him being compared to other famous stars such as Diego Maradona and George Best. It also led to his signature for Ajax in the Netherlands at the age of only seven. However, the pressure on Pike led to both his personal mental breakdown in 2000 and the collapse of his parents' marriage.Pike's collapse has been used as a warning to other young athletes, such as Cherno Samba and Rhain Davis. Pike is the nephew of former Tottenham Hotspur and Queens Park Rangers striker Mark Falco After retiring from the professional game in 2003, he attended the University of Dundee. He has played for a number of clubs, including Dryburgh Saints and Waltham Forest, now going by the name Luke Pike.

i forgot about olivier bernard. leaving us to go to southampton was the worst thing he could have ever done. truly in the 'where are they now?' file, sadly
-
michael ricketts, as an example of how someones' stock can fall so low, from 15 goals by feb of his debut premiership season and an england call up, to dropping through the divisions to league one and now being a free agent at the age of 29. all in 6 years too
-
it's got me wondering though, illegal approaches, tapping up and what not... in a car park.... chairman of surreal madrid ...'psst, swarfega, here's a few roberto to buy out your contract at panchester, and come to us, wink wink nudge nudge' swarfega... 'hokay, senor' ....tootles off and buys contract out, panchester's manager has aneurysm through rage

i'd like to see aimar in a newcastle shirt. hopefully gutierrez might be able to bend his ear, providing his wage demands/transfer fee aren't too daft.
-
think of us signing gutierrez on the cheap as karma for getting ripped off well and truly for elena marcelino lol
-
well if we do keep him, it's certainly one of those 'dare to be great' situations. it could finally make him as a player, or it could go tits up like another 'dare to be great' situation, ie - bellamy /riise/golf clubs, yup bellamy blew it.
-
was that what diatta did with besiktas to become a free agent?
-
that arsenal away shirt is canny nice like, is there a higher res pic? i can't quite make out 'rocastle 7' or 'whoever else 15' on the shirts, pluse steve bould (i think) looks a hell of a lot like pascal cygan, and i'm sure the gooners want to forget about him lol. bit fucked if adebayor goes in the next couple of weeks though. like the massive window decal of dyer in our '07-'09 home shirt on the club store at st james, launched just before he got flogged...

the story was leaked by a little wooden boy, with an elongated nose, followed by someone named jiminy cricket, who is said to be the new adoptive father of juande ramos. early reports indicate, that ramos will be using his newly adopted father's surname instead of his own, to appeal to the uk more and will be now know as juande cricket

could be someones birthday and now you have trampled it into the ground. ruud van nistelrooy, patrick kluivert, pamela anderson, and the sony walkman won't be too happy at that lol
-
yup ... glenn hoddle found him
-
so... if he is coming back to training, and not getting sacked, do you reckon he will actually be in the last chance saloon this time? getting read the riot act, 1 more mistake and he gets the tin tack?
-
shame, he's a great young player ... but anything to do with 3rd party ownership is bad bad news.
