Step forward Big Sam Allardyce! i'd have that if he got tarred and feathered and banished to europe like mclaren did (before he came back and made a mess at forest) i've enjoyed match of the day this season so far without allardyce blathering on

Newcastle United 1-4 Liverpool - FT - Entertainers Charity Match

Such a badly organized affair. The shuttle bus from the race course to the stadium must have stopped really early. We got there at 12.45 and there were about 50 people waiting and everyone had to get back in their cars as no bus turned up by 1.15. We had to park in the retail park near tesco and missed the first 20 mins. When we got there it seemed oversold and we ended up having the tallest steward in the world blocking our view for most of the game. Saw traffic wardens in force ticketing loads of cars in the residential area near the stadium -
Absolutely not. Yes, that's true but it was when HBA was about 10 years old, he played in my town and there were some little matches the week end in which my okder brother played with him. If some people don't believe it, i'd just say that for every training and matches, Ben arfa came with hid dad. His dad was clutching (maybe he had an accident in the past) and that is why he always came with a little chair, he sat in and watched his son played. All that was told me by my brother. He also told to me that one day, in a match, they were 5-0 down and Ben arfa was late. Then Hba came at half time and won the match by himself by scoring about 8 goals for his team He was above every one in France when he was a kid. You've never loved a player like that in NUFC ?? http://images.icnetwork.co.uk/upl/nechronical/aug2010/0/5/paul-gascoigne-48031922.jpg

I know he's said he'll probably retire at the end of the season but it would be great to see him sign up for the heed next season for his last one
-
i expect him to be telling us about how much he loves it when a plan comes together

the people's republic of gateshead, we'll claim washington back too

Nobby is still my favourite foreign player, closely followed by Coloccini. I still think that Nobby going to London had nothing to do with his family or the club, I just don't think he liked the manager at that time. Hopefully he'll be a good coach and will stay for a long time, I can imagine why the kids would love to work with him and I would think that he'll have a slightly different outlook to British coaches and that can only be good for the kids if they are given a different perspective. not many people did like that bell-end allardyce glad nobby's back in the region and all the better for working with the young nufc lads. i'd still love to see him at gatesheed for a season so i can get a gateshead shirt with his name on

didn't realise jack black was a mackem
-
allardyce sold him in the june, days/weeks after taking over so it might have been another player whinging
-
if he could ever play a run of games i'd say hargreaves would be a better option than barry, but he's probably got less chance of displacing him in the man city side first, if he doesn't injure himself getting out of bed

There should be a picture of peter ridsdale at every ground saying 'do not let this man in'. -

I'd reckon he'll start like. Wonder if he's any good at left back... -
i still can't help but think it's gonna be more 'fake' but hey at least we tried! bids, like the johnson, richardson and n'zogbia ones in the past on deadline day. and we all know how hard it is to sign players in january

L'Equipe: Modibo Maiga fails medical; transfer 'abandoned'
nobby_solano replied to a topic in Football
Yep. Once again this strikes me as more opportunism than carefully coordinated planning. Irrespective of whether or not he's a good player, I just think it's ridiculous that we could once again be facing a winter of Shola-Loven-and Best, who, whilst I think is decent, hasn't exactly got a perfect fitness record. and even then a potential call up for nigeria for shola
