  1. don't think this one's been posted yet ... new ac milan 3rd shirt. i like this a lot. shame the adidas logo isn't the old school trefoil one mind http://www.footballshirtculture.com/images/ac-milan-11-12-adidas-third-football-shirt-i.jpg and the new man city one modelled by arr kid who looks even more miserable than ryan taylor. what's up with that stupid collar inside the collar too? plain v-neck would have been alreet http://www.footballshirtculture.com/images/manchester-city-11-12-umbro-home-football-shirt-a.jpg
  2. Wonder what fcking wages he is on! apparently he's on a lower wage than he was at man city but the transfer has taken longer as he'd wanted the rest of his contract paid up by man city, steven ireland stylee...
  3. I wouldn't count on it. Couple of false bids on deadline day, £10 for kaka, £3.50 for rooney, 'hey, at least we tried!' Then it's whatever unfit, not had a pre-season and likely to get injured free agents are not signed up joining on 1st of sept
  4. don't like that bolton one. reebok make some horrible kits like. the palace brazil shirt's alright like
  5. Wonder if Mr. Ryder wrote that before or after Villa accepted the Downing bid. depends on whether randy lerner 'pockets the £36m'™
  6. i'm sure i read somewhere that his knee situation is that he suffers from a degenerative condition, which he's taking medication to supress. can't remember where i read it so it might be bollocks
  7. hopefully this will amount to nothing can see why they'd want him, cos he's mint and that
  8. How? Up there with the 'moves' for Kieran Richardson and N'Zogbia. Ashley/Llambias will have fed a line to the media to try and curry favour with fans. One of the most consistently suggested and consistently ridiculous "theories." It's just tedious. tbf it's not an anti-ashley line for those that remember the rooney bid, to some, from exactly the same school of thought. I wasn't around these boards back then so I don't know what the situation was. Nevertheless I maintain that the idea that the Arshavin/Modric/Richardson()/N'Zogbia/Gameiro/Gervinho bids were "fake bids" to appease the public is mind-numbingly ridiculous. I'm not some sort of Anti-Ashley doom monger, but the Richardson, Michael Johnson and N'Zogbia bids we're all highly suspicious, and in my opinion clear PR moves. Especialy when you watched Sky Sports News all day. So glad the former 2 did not come off for the reported £8m each. yup, kinda reminds me of the old phil brown 'it's nice to be associated with such a player'. i am still highly suspicious of those bids and will be this year up until the transfer window closes.
  9. Actually, I'm sure something was said a few year ago about Quinn not wanting it because of the pitch invaders. Not 100%. probably something along the lines of him wanting the mackems to actually go to the game instead of watching it at pubs or something
  10. my dad is convinced we're going to sign anelka. dunno how that idea came about mind
  11. i didn't realise robert earnshaw had signed for cardiff on a free a couple of days ago
  12. Good choice maybe it's colo who is the player who's contract extension was being alluded to on twatter
  13. i like the away and 3rd kits this season much better than the dull, unimaginitive 'italy home and away shirts with a different badge on' from last season. did we actually win any games other than the one against accrington in either the blue or white shirts?
  14. probably all just to scare them into giving him a pay rise more than anything
  15. I like that new england away shirt. Smart as fook. The keeper top reminds me a bit of the old black/green zigzag one shilton wore in the late '80's
  16. it's not quite a daft question, but i didn't know where else to put this.... my mate had this print of st james park when we were young 'uns. the print was entitled 'two for joy' and was a cartoon type painting from the leazes end as andy cole scored the 7th goal past leicester on the last day of the 92-93 season. does anyone have a digital copy of this print at all?
  17. well apparently we're not after barry ferguson http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/9110432.Magpies_do_not_want_Ferguson/
  18. Was thinking that Had to mute it a quarter through, doing my head in. glad i wasn't the only one
  19. The alleged bollocks I'd heard was that nolan/barton had been trying to wield to much power at the club, trying to undermime management like a scouse version of the krays with carroll as their minder. Pardew comes in, realises nowt will change unless he gets rid of either nolan/barton or both. Heard that from a mate of a mate who was talking to someone in a&e at the rvi, so it's a credible sauce, like levi roots'reggae reggae
