When brazil play and the commentators insist on using the phrase 'carnival atmosphere'

http://www.francefootball.fr/FF/breves2010/20100629_000846_m-gueye-file-a-everton.html Is his name pronounced 'Ma-Gay Gay'? i always thought it would be ma-gay guy for some reason
-
i bet he'll be bloody fit and raring to go by the time we go to old trafford

yep, i know he stubbornly stuck with like for like substitutions but if he's paid off i have this horrible feeling sam allardyce or 'arry redknapp will get the job
-
I don't think I give that much of a fuck being honest. I wish he had waited til the end of the season but I appreciate how great a player he was for us. I think the way he left won't be an issue in years to come and when he retires I hope the fans remember how good a keeper he was for us over the years
-
The thing I fear if fabio resigns is someone like sam allardyce getting the job.

that blackburn one is pretty smart like. i've not seen the sunderland one but i'm going to hazard a guess and say it might look like this... http://img51.imageshack.us/img51/1774/sunderlandumbro.jpg

i'd have never guessed that japanese brazilian fella!
-
25 is polish if that helps any just got no39
-
i got 34... didn't get (going from top left as no1) 7, 14, 21 (although he looks a lot like gordon ramsey), 23, 31, 39

^ i'm sure hughton denied that last week
-
yeah he's probably been on the phone to a number of clubs
-
Reads like a Karl Pilkington poem, that does. i've just imagined mr k. dilkington reading that out
-
well if the lads can't raise their game for a knockout match against germany then they might as well just fly home now. i'm sure we'll play some good football on sunday hopefully barry won't just keep lumping long balls upfield for the smallest fella on the pitch like he did yesterday
-
had a few cracking nights in there over the years. terry did have a fantastic amount of memrobilia on the walls. only ever bumped into a couple of shady characters in suits in there, who we got on with and talked about iron maiden oddly enough, before they went up to 'attend to a bit of business in heaton'. it'll be a shame for another 'proper' pub to go by the wayside
-
hmmm interesting
-
did he even touch the ball in that match?
-
Agreed. As much as i'd like to see Terry in the gutter; booting him straight out of the squad is the easy way out imo. He's still a gifted footballer and easily one of our very best on his day. I don't think getting rid of him now would be particularly beneficial to the squad; we don't want the alleged fear factor being enhanced any more than it already is. I said this in a nother thread but I'll repeat. I'd purge the squad of the dross after this world cup and fill it with the talented and hungry youngsters we have in this country. They may not be ready just yet and we may not qualify for the Euro's but it would be better for us in the long run to blood the youngsters now than carry on with the same tired old s**** we have seen over the last two weeks. that's a bit like what dunga did with the brazil squad post- world cup 2006. fwiw, mourinho, scolari ... was capello next on the list?
-
i'd rather keep kadar here and try and bring van aanholt back on loan to be honest like, or a loan with a view to a permanent move
-
probably right enough though
-
Still wear that one quite a bit. is that the grey ajax style one?
