If we are to sign SWP, then maybe Jonas could be pushed into the center alongside Danny boy. And with Zogg on the wing, we'll have the fastest team in the world.

Well considering Parma are now relegated , Id like to see Lazio or someone like that do well. Id like to see Inter Milan win it considering Jose's there.

The one thing about Everton, City, Pompey that is different to us is that they can all offer SWP European football. But, Pompey are running low on funds considering their only bringing in loans now. Whether Everton have the cash though is another thing. So I believe its between us and Man City. Hopefully KK has gone in for SWP because he did work with him and surely knows what he can offer us. Plus KK can sell the club to anyone so hopefully Shaun believes him. Fingers crossed though

SWP was quality under KK at City. Maybe he'd want to work under him again. If not SWP then Valencia. Tbh though, we're not that stuck for another RM considering Jonas is with us.....and plus, we've got you Kazenga Lua Lua coming through the ranks and he looks class. I think we should maybe try and splash out on someone like Diego. Id prefer not to lose Jimmy though...

I used to love Gray, and I'd always listen to him or if he had an opinion Id normally agree with him. But now, as people on here have said, hes so unbelievably biased to the 'top 4'. Its getting increasingly annoying and now he only seems to pay attention to the bigger teams and only talks about the 'bigger' teams. Its getting boring. Hes still one of the better commentators around....but c'mon, Im not exactly going to choose him over John Motson or Mark Lawrenson. As for Clyde Tilsdy (spelling), well, he sounds like hes having an orgasm every time a goals scored!

Well hopefully once the season ticket issue is sorted out and a few more people move to the Singing section, the atmosphere will build and start to improve. Its only the first game so theres lots of time for it to make the difference. Although today it sounded like the crowd needed something to liven them up as it was a drab affair.

I doubt it. Turan is a left winger so unless Zoggs or Duff are leaving, I cant see us getting him.

In fairness to the mackems they've strengthened considerably this summer....for their standards anyway. I think that if we have our best players available and play to our best we'll beat them. Simple as that. Although I voted for us to draw away and win at home!

Tbh, when the season ended, I thought that by this time we would have all our transfer done by now. So Im a bit disappointed that we dont have them finished. But its good to see that KKs confident of getting new signings in. Personally, I think that if we are to mount a serious challenge for 5th or 6th spot, we need 5 new players in; a LB, a CB, a DM, an AM and a striker. But if we get 3 in then thats good progress the club have made.

Shame a player of Roberts caliber has fallen so low. Imo he was worth every penny of the 9.5m we paid for him. A great player. Even if he did have his not so great moments. When he was in the mood he was unstoppable....simple as that. He was the most effective left winger in the EPL. And some his goals will never be forgotten.

I dunno. Even Allardyce didnt seem to rate him. I dont get it how nearly every manager we have thinks N'Zogbia is a suitable LB. I just cant understand for the life of me why... Enriques a good player I think and showed good improvements towards the end of last season. But i would prefer a proper LB to replace him with rather than N'Zogbia... If we do get Pocognoli, he will strengthen our squad considerably.

I think our main downfall in recent years has been our failure to buy players like Collocini. Instead of spending money on players we didnt need (i.e Damien Duff) we could of built a strong defence with players like these. Could you imagine a central defensive pairing of Woodgate and Collocini!

7pts from our 1st 4 games is a great start i reckon. That's what we should be aiming for now. Agreed. I reckon we can get a draw at Arsenal. But again, we'll have to perform to a similar standard of the Man Utd performance.
