  1. Still cant believe that goal from Papiss! Different class. Nearly got choked out by Ash during the celebrations
  2. No one see Santon's performance today? The guy is class. LB is his as far as I'm concerned.
  3. I don't think its a contest; Elliot any day over Harper. I'd probably have Alnwick over Harps, the guy is finished.

    Alan Pardew

Yep, knocked out by Palermo when he was manager of Wham, the same Palermo season Krully made his debut. I think. That is correct.
  5. If we're playing 4-2-3-1, then let us have disciplined DM's- i.e. no Tiote- and free up our attacking front four and let our full backs bomb forward and pen them back. Be positive, that's what its all about. Get the crowd on our side from the start and nail the fuckers; they're not that good at all. We're Newcastle United, man. We've got to be beating the likes of Southampton. Howay!
  6. Lets face it, it really doesn't matter how you play or what you win, you're doomed from the start at Madrid
  7. In short, you should stop betting.
  8. Tickled me, that. Sounds like a serious claim to fame! I'll go for Svetoslav Todorov. Quite good for Portsmouth before injuries derailed him. Think he's somewhere in Ukraine now.
  9. There is a god. Little prick had it coming.

Don't think Adam Johnson will cause too many problems to us. We have two solid full backs which is more than we've had on the last 3/4 occasions. Johnson went missing at their place this season, we have far, far superior players in Marveaux, Gouffran and of course, Ben Arfa. Hopefully Cuntermole plays and Sissoko can fucking destroy the little rat boy. The derby isn't worth thinking about yet, imo. They're far too irrelevant atm to us.
  11. Honestly, the raw passion and excitement that St.James' Park can generate is simply unique and breathtaking at times. Man Utd, Chelsea, City, Liverpool and Arsenal can all shove their millions and 'top 4' rubbish up their arse, NUFC offers such a strong sense of identity and belonging, that when you defy the odds you feel so proud and close to the club. With regards to Chelsea's fans they were woeful. I saw a couple of feeble 'Rafa Out' banners displayed- one even said, "Rafa Out Fact"? What is that supposed to mean? Didn't hear a peep out of them, even when they were 1-2 up. They just don't deserve the success they've had in the last 10 years. Also, last night in Weatherspoons in The Gate there was a massive scrap in the centre of floor. I'm certain those lads, or the majority involved, were Cockney's. Wasn't nice to see.
  12. Usually the day after a win I have a spring in my step and Sunday's are highly enjoyable, but I'm really ecstatic about yesterday still! What an unbelievable result, seeing the celebrations afterwards was amazing, it was like we had just won the Champions League- everyone staying behind and signing in The Corner It really is days like yesterday that supporting NUFC is unbeatable. Proper buzzing! The French Revolution is here
  13. We look so much better without Tiote. He's just an idiot on the pitch. I'll go for about a 6 now.
  14. Absolutely love it when that place gets going, it's by far the nosiest in England when in the mood. What a game today!

    Alan Pardew

Still want him gone at the end of the season, he's showed complete incompetence all season. He's not good enough for where this clubs wants to/should be. But, in saying that, well done to him today- he didn't panic (as people said) and press the self destruct button. Despite Chelsea's goals being two 'worldies', we did invite them on to us which is very dangerous. However, no point in being negative today, lets all celebrate one of the best wins this club has had in a long time
  16. 1-0 NUFC. Marveaux to bend it on the top far corner, edge of the box, in front of our fans with 15mins to go. Nervous finish.

    Alan Pardew

I think it would be foolish to buy into any of his 'sweet talk', regardless of our latest influx of quality. Pardew's talked a good game before but we all know how much of a mis-match the result is. Just beat Villa and keep fighting for your job.
  18. It's completely surreal that we've signed a competent CB. Absolutely surreal.
  19. We thought we'd lose everyone last time to be fair. I see your point, but I think that there was a large sense of guilt from a lot of our players who felt they owed us to stay and get us back up- plus, I think a lot of them had been so poor no one would touch them, especially on the insane wages they were on. This time its slightly different, our current squad (or best 11) absolutely shits on the other team the 08/09 team, imo. Bar the obvious Williamson and Simpson, there aren't many players this season where you can say they've been terrible. If Pardew's still here next season then there is no way any of our good players will stick around. Your last line is key. There's absolutely no way we can keep Pardew and expect things to come good. It's just petrifying to think that he could still be here next season (in the Championship)
