Fuck...if Suarez scored for Liverpool to win then I would've won just over £5 from 24p Had Lazio -1, Hyde, Sevilla, Chelmsford and Suarez/Liverpool. Fiddlesticks.

They sold all those players during the summer window. Not mid-season with a threadbare squad and failing to bring in replacements. Their policy was/is a world away from ours.
-
Absolutely inexcusable if true. Tiote would be my guess. Krul to follow in the summer. you're in for a shock Don't worry mate, I'm not shocked. Just can't see how that would equate to responsible business. And of course we won't get a replacement, but it's OK because we got away with it last season!

Would be very interesting to see how a trio of the above would do together. Playing Jonas and HBA out wide with Ba up top would be appealing. However it would be silly to tamper with the current strategy now as it is working so well for us.

Based on what? He's played 15mins of Premier League football. Based on from what I've seen of Santon at NUFC and Inter that he is streets ahead of Danny Simpson? He's a better build for a centre half than Simpson, also. Not to mention better on the ball. It's not ideal either way (Santon or Simpson as a makeshift) but that's just my opinion I guess.
-
Barca are playing their B team this week. I'm still hopefully, if not blind
-
Do people really think that playing Simpson in the centre as opposed to Santon is a good idea? I think Santon would be a much more steadier option there.
-
Er...I don't think so? We might need an emergency loan, but we aren't obliged to get one. Maybe you're thinking of the 'keeper emergency loan?

AC Milan are at 13/10 on paddypower midweek against Viktoria Plzen! Whilst APOEL are evens at home to Shaktar. Looking at it there, Milan, APOEL, Napoli and Barca -2 returns £104 off £5. Can't resist!
-
2-1 now. C'mon Schalke!!!
-
"I belong to Jesus." Fucking hell man...
-
Definitely. Odds are 2.20, I'll take that. Done. Cheers mate!

Phew! Juve leaving it late!

£5 on: Athletico Madrid Juve -1 Schalke -1 Returns £35

David, would Schalke be worth -1 tomorrow against Augsburg?

They were singing it's all gone quiet at the Sports Direct. :'( also sounded like "you're all wankers at the sports direct" at one point ?? Probably. Gosh, those southerners are so creative. Had to walk through their hordes as they were heading past St.James' Park after the match today- horrible accents. "Awww faaackin' 'ewll maate, gotta get Dannayyy startin' everay week maaate". Twats.

Despite bringing good numbers, Chelsea's support was absolutely woeful today, like.

Have a real sense of deflation about this game (and the others, I suppose) now they're over. We put in so much effort and got injures/suspensions in the process - for very little tangible reward. We even p*ssed away respectable scorelines away from home by losing by three and damaging our goal difference today. We're down to sixth and I struggle to see us getting in and amongst the teams above us again atm - especially now we've got so many defensive injuries and we'll represent a decent/attainable scalp for teams below us. I'd have been delighted with seventh at the start of the season, but the league table will become a depressing sight very soon in some ways. The "big six" will in all likeliness charge away. Didn't expect to finish in the six or anything, but it was fun to rattle cages/feel involved in one of the two meaningful sides of the league (and the good one, no less) We've got a cup left, basically. Think it's all the more annoying because, but for an injury here or there (ie. Tiote, and Colo today) we could have got 4 or so points from our last three. Bah. I agree with the majority of that, but don't think it's all doom. We have a run of games consisting of Norwich, Swansea, West Brom and Bolton. I'm not saying we will win them all- don't expect too as they will be tougher than we think- but we have a very good chance to keep up with the pace in the top 5 places. If we stay clear of any more injuries then we will be ok.

We really missed Jonas. I thought we would have definitely scored, or at the bare minimum created far more chances in the first half especially with him on.
-
Fucking Southampton, man. This day just gets worse..
-
We were far better when Shola came on for him. We were, but we soon ran out of ideas.
-
Thought Perch did OK today, tbh. Although, from where I was sitting it looked like he lost Drogba for the goal. --------Simpson----Perch-----Santon---Raylor-- -------Obertan-----Guthrie---Cabaye---Jonas-- -------------------------Ben Arfa------------ -------------------------Ba----------------
-
Cannot wait for Marv to return and replace Obertan. That man struggles to control the ball, let alone cross one..
