Sad news, but there are more to life than football. Considering the situation its probably the right choice. Luckily Muamba seems like decent bloke, and will handle life without football well, unlike a lot of other knobheads/wannabe gangsters out there. Good luck Muamba, health and family first.

I'm getting tired of people posting clips that cost to view. We get it, you have a bit of money in your back pocket. Fucking snobs the lot of them.

Kicking off as they think FIFA are now against them and are biased towards the toon. Tbf some of us have kicked off in the Fifa13 thread on here to, including me. Fucking top clubs man, always overrated -
I think that is given tbh. It sounds is more like position on the pitch really. It looks like he is keen on DM, and not being seen as a potato who can play both fullbacks etc.

Seriously? Is that true? Not very professional if its the case. Seriously man... jesus. http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRfwMDfZr0bjnvwmo1XVksSIC7NNBOtbtpdqH3htDyuh_gUWzvV

I rest my case.... In fact: Rest the case as much as you like, but what is your fucking point?

Can not believe people giving the father stick for saying what he did. Of course he wants to get assurances where he is going to play. If he want to develop as a DM, and we can not promise that, he would stay in Ajax. Its as easy as that really.

This is the kicker for me. The whole managerial merry-go-round is just so fucked up compared to any other employment. Managers repeatedly fail, are fired, paid off... and then in a new job before the end of the month. This is a system where Alex McLeish can relegate a team, and then immediately take over at their local rivals. In this world, Martin O'Neill is one of the better bets as far as managerial appointments go... and he's ridiculously flawed. Agree, its a exclusive club, once you are in you are basically set for life. I can just imagine that there are way better managers down in the divisions and other leagues that never get the chance based on "experience". I think a lot of chairmen are afraid to do a appointment. Better appoint a known name, so i have by back cleared if the shit hits the fan mentality.

Norwich? Was there 5 months or something? There is no boubt he is a okay to good manager. Decent results all over. Unfortunately he has not evolved over the last years. From wiki: So left in a huff then, like KK always gets battered with. I do not blame KK, because i love him. But i would not judge MON because of that, as i do not know the full details about what happened. Based on his results in Leicester, Celtic and Villa its fair to call him a decent manager, but not good. I do not rate him, but his results are not that bad compared to a lot of other British managers imo.

Ajax went in record with the bid being accepted. I guess the press ask Anita&co questions. They answered it honest and fair. As i understands it, he do not want to move at all costs. He is happy at Ajax. But would like a new challenge if the right club is willing to offer him play time at DM, and at a wage that reflects his potential. He puts his career first as far as i can understand, and its a good sign. of course its a good sign... for him. he's clearly open to other offers from other teams, which is fair enough, wouldnt we all if another employer comes after us with a bigger wage packet. And for us, the first part at least. We want young hungry players, who want to get the most out of their career. Its a sign he wants to achieve something. If other team offer the same as us, we have to convince him as good as possible. Not necessary with wage, but with promise of playtime etc. Let Krul do the job with the rest. If PSG or any other mega rich club (or West ham )comes and offer shitload of money, and he takes it, so be it. Then he can die in a fire! [/not really]

I don't see the problem with his comments at all. He was honest, he is happy at Ajax. He is apparently interesting in moving to Newcastle, new challenge etc. Its not strange that he want to talk with his new boss before signing. Get assurances its DM he will be played. Guess he feel fucked if he signed, and he suddenly get shirt no 3. "your a LB son, jog on."

He and Van der Wiel changed agents recently, no?

When have Ashley/Llambias been worried about appeasing the fans I think its a genuine offer tbf. Tbf i think you are right

What a fucking stupid tweet from the club. Why should this be limited to only a few people. This is info most fans want to hear. They talk about a open club, keep in touch with the supporters etc.

 i dont get it

Agree, Ferguson have always impressed me.
