I see Barkley's decision making still sorely lacking.
-
Ticking off the grim cliche but this is a genuinely good 0-0.
-
Targett at 6s still, crikey.
-
For me Pulisic is Chelsea's best attacking player. Such a ridiculously low centre of gravity.
-
Not sure what that's got to do with it tbh.
-
Absolutely astonishingly bad defending.

Big fan of that 33/1 shout. Ajayi bets a wash out unfortunately, never really stood much of a chance given only 1 WBA corner. It happens, only small stakes as mentioned and given how much the prices shortened the odds were definitely still too long.
-
Got a lot of time for that.

Sure is. I mean don't get me wrong they're not likely to happen, but that for example shouldn't be anywhere near 67/1, I make it more like a 16/1-ish shot given current form. I haven't seen the above bets anywhere but I know a couple of the people I follow on Twitter have recently had Ajayi-related bets, so I suspect they're going to tip similar sort of bets tomorrow and I can see the price plummeting. If he opens the scoring with a header there will be, as the cool kids say, limbs ahl owa.

Early shout for tomorrow but I'm focussing on Semi Ajayi, the sort of player who was made for the prefix 'Big'. He looks a key part of WBA now with Allardyce and is their main target from set pieces, and he's scored in 3 of his last 5 games. The below all look big, and I expect these prices to contract before kick off so I'm getting on now given he seems to be a guaranteed starter barring a freak injury before tomorrow. Also picked up a card in his last 2 and is a general 5/1 to be booked, which I wouldn't put people off. Small stakes split across them, and I will repeat I'm not in good form so follow at your own peril. Maintain regardless though they all represent good value given recent form. 1+ SOT @ 7/1 1+ headed SOT @ 12/1 Anytime scorer @ 16/1 First scorer @ 35/1 To score a header @ 20/1 Goal/card double @ 75/1

Agree. Expecting a lot more 1-0/2-0s from them. Their defence looks a different prospect this year. Dias and a returning to form Stones have made a huge difference so they don't have to go hell for leather. Just control the possession and their quality will eventually yield some openings.

At times my genius is staggering.

Inter take the lead v Juve. Huge game.

The whole boring KDB/Bruno debate aside, that's a few 'big' games now that Fernandes hasn't really turned up in. He's a superb player and has transformed Man Utd but for them to take the next step I think he's going to have to up his game in the big ones.

Can see a few cards here with the way the game will pan out and Palace's pace on the counter attack even without Zaha. Couple that seem very long all things considered: Walker @ 9/1 Eze @ 12/1 Mad double @ 130/1

Yeah it’s definitely not what it was - I didn’t mind it to begin with as seemed fresh with the new people ( all of whom are decent in their own right ) But now it’s lost its USP! Kate as host instantly makes me want to turn it off, she isn’t even a bad host per se but just doesn’t fit the show at all— it seems aswel what they used to take the piss out off they are now themselves - riddled with adverts , jokes dragging on for weeks that are not funny ( think they purposely laugh more at Kate etc to make them feel comfortable which is fine but it’s a cringe listen most of the time ) Vish and Pete now seem bored- Andy is very knowledgeable and a good guy but doesn’t fit the show either... But of a shame and can’t really knock them for cashing in especially if it keeps things going in these times, Hope post covid ( next season ) they go back to the original 4 on Mondays / Fridays- ( even a mix the other days won’t really matter just would be nice for that consistency and standard for the 4 on them days ) will keep giving it a chance until then- still really hits the note when Marcus Jim and Luke are on- Marcus is superb host in his own right and perfect for this Agree with this. I still like it, it's easy listening when going for a walk or something but yeah it's not got the same spark. And like you, I don't blame them. Be nice to have the original 4 on a couple of times a week though.

Fascinating, 2 heavyweights eyeing each other up, tactical game of chess, engrossing. In other words, shite. Plain as day Man Utd are happy with a draw - and I certainly don't blame them for that - and tbh I'm not sure Liverpool would see it as a terrible result either. Makes for a shite spectacle though.

Whats most impressive for me is, as cliche as it is, they can win without being remarkable. Thought they were fairly average tonight against a decent Southampton side but won 2-0 still. Bodes well for them. Combined with the investment off the pitch they're clearly in it for the long run.
-
Good work Nate. As mentioned unlucky with JWP too.
-
Glad I don't have JWP here. Doing a McTominay, fouling all over the joint but avoiding a card.
-
JWP has had a couple of niggly fouls too so imagine he's on his last warning.
-
Easily one of my biggest current football pet hates. Not just for this game, it's mentioned whenever talking about Southampton. So fucking boring.
-
Apparently a previous game between these two finished 9-0.
-
BT lasted a whole 3 minutes before mentioning the 9-0.
