I want to say Leicester. -
I wouldn't say this is "bad" like. We have three injuries, one is due back in two weeks, the others roughly six weeks a piece. It's not ideal, but we're still in pretty good shape.

Except for the times we qualified for the Champions League. -
Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)

Wherever he goes next, it needs to be a move to help him kick on. He'd be a moron to move to Chelsea, for example. -

Apparently FB Ref is for folk who sniff bus seats. -
Do we think we'd regularly sell out an 80K seater?

Is the delivery a new contract?

He seems to have calmed down a bit of late. I wonder if someone's had a word. -
Isak's little strike helping to kibosh Sweden's WC qualification, after Jon Dahl Tomasson was simping for him and praising his summer conduct is absolutely fucking delicious.
-
I've read a fair amount comment that we should have offered Isak fresh terms, but that doesn't excuse his behaviour. It's fair enough really and more nuanced than the straw men being chucked about. It's a pointless discussion regardless. Isak's gone now and only he will know his motivations for leaving.
-
Oof! Starts with a straw man, shifts into selective reading before seamlessly segueing into insults. Nice.
-
Can't both things be true though? No one should be abusing referees, but no one expects perfection, just a baseline level of competence.

From the Athletic: "Howe was involved in the process along with majority shareholders, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), and co-owner James Reuben. PIF has also been aware of Wilson for several years, including interest when he was sporting director at Rangers between 2019 and 2023, in which time the club won their first league title for a decade and reached the Europa League final. His profile, as a sporting director who creates a strong club culture and builds the infrastructure needed to support a manager, is also seen as being a good fit for Howe who is hands-on with recruitment and football matters." Sounds like Howe certainly had a say in the process (expected after Mitchell), but nothing to suggest he chose him.

You have to have concerns though, it'd be daft to enjoy anything too much.

Good to see we've learned from the Richard Hughes crack.

No doubt he'll go back to Milan to end his career.
