Officiating performances have been so bad recently that this doesn't see too bad.

You know when the lads start withdrawing and the great wall of groans gets into full flow? Feels loads like that here. -

City look weirdly nervous here. -
That Everton game is massive, has banana skin written all over it.

He deserves credit for how much better we've moved the ball of late.

Also given offside on the pitch, so VAR can't intervene. -

I think if there's a foul before the ball is played, they're supposed to retake the free kick. -

Pretty predictable stuff. This fixture is bad enough at the best of times, but it's probably the worst point to be playing them. At least we're moving it around nicely I guess. -
Modern football fans are the pits.

Think they've got too many points on the board. They'll eek out enough wins to get over the line.

Brentford two down, good for us.

He has Everton written all over him.

The narrative around this Vini stuff is toe curling. It's alright to think Vini is a bit of a dick AND be angry with him being racially abused.

For some time now, we've craved players with a bit of technical flair, who are comfortable on the ball. In Ramsey and Woltamade we have that.

Trppier is an obvious weakness in the defence and has been targeted by opponents over the last few weeks. Miley can't return soon enough. As for the keeper situation, we just need to ride it out until the summer. Eddie loved to go man-to-man v the better sides, but City have murdered our press in recent encounters. Combine it with a trip to Baku still fresh in the legs and it feels like a block and counter us the way to go here. -
I've found Gordon to be frustrating this season, but the whole penalty incident feels like its being hugely blown out of proportion.

Folk really do let their imagination run away with them at times.

We can dream. I just think this is the perfect storm for a bit of a hiding. I prefer your thinking. -

Have a feeling we might get pumped here. City will smell blood with Arsenal stumbling last night and we could well be leggy after a ridiculous away trip. Please don't go man-to-man against this lot again Eddie. -
It seemed we were looking for a second striker who could play a bit deeper all summer. There was talk of Cunha early doors, then the failed bid for Pedro. Not sure how it would have worked if we'd been successful with our early pitch for Delap like, unless we knew Isak was gone at that point.
