Far too early to rule us out, but we need to sort our away form out to sustain any kind of run.
-
He was blowing out his arse.

Absolutely awful performance, very much reminiscent of the beginning of last season. We reek of a team in transition, particularly away from home. We've abandoned our trademark high intensity press, but it isn't really evident what we're trying to do yet. Every faith in Howe we'll get there, but we might have to get used to inconsistency in the short term.

Pope man.
-
Woltemade, Elanga, Thiaw and Ramsey all have the potential to improve the team in the medium to long term.
-
This hasn't really been true since Howe took charge like.
-
Give how streaky we are, quite a few.
-
We beat his Forest side every time we played them.
-
With VAR, I have no idea.
-
Probably knackered, we've had to overplay him.
-
Nope, it's about bodies in the middle. We were outnumbered.
-
Makes sense in that he's trying yo regain the midfield battle. We were getting overrun first half.
-
Worst home team in the league and we've been so passive. Need some fresh legs in the midfield at half time.
-
Csnt really argue with tthem leading. Poor so far today.
-
Both sides have retreated after scoring, it's bizarre
-
It's weird how much we struggle with the lead. The midfield completely retreated.
-
Bee coming, but Pope should save that.
-
Another ref who loves his whistle. So stop-start.

Such a satisfying goal.

Feels like Emery has got his tactics wrong here.

Heard great things about Guessand, but seems it'll take a while to get him up to speed.

Four games sample size, but we were decent v Villa and second half v Brighton. We also battered USG in the Champions League.
