I feel simultaneously better about my life and worse about his

I’ve never heard of this guy before. Was this a big thing at some point then?
-
Wasn’t he good for Ajax and now Brentford? I thought that was the received wisdom.
-
That last qualifier in Albania could be a bit naughty - they’ll almost certainly be needing a result to qualify.
-
Every fucking time . Watched years and years of those free kicks.
-
Just too good. Eze’s done a couple of nice things, Rashford’s actually done really well, Bowen’s a lovely little player.
-
This half is going on for ever.
-
Trying to swap shirts 20 minutes too early and other football cliches.

Yeah, I was a left-back too, at least when I played at an OK level . I haven’t seen it in him either, but I avoid watching Arsenal as a rule so I don’t feel qualified to comment. I feel like in general when I’ve watched him he hasn’t been particularly bad but he hasn’t been particularly good.
-
Eze has got to make this count tbh.
-
Not enough fit left-footed LBs. Bang.
-
Brilliant tackle. Too casual by Anderson.
-
He’s been fine. Their LB and LM have clearly been told to get very tight on him and have done a good job. It just means more space elsewhere, which we’ve ultimately exploited.

Need to start using these set pieces properly. Edit: much better

It’s just pathetic now. There was some article in the Telegraph stirring some nonsense about Tuchel and Bellingham earlier. I resent being treated like I’m fucking stupid Edit: Even though, tbf, I am an England fan.

Pulled up someone for this on Reddit earlier. He posted “England‘s best team” but among arguable issues (Lewis-Skelly and TAA full-backs, Burn and Guehi CB, Rice holding, Bellendham and Palmer in CM) the single most obvious issue was that he had Rashford on the left. I just don’t get what people don’t get? Gordon is so obviously the best option on the left and has been for at least a year. Rashford is useful because he’s powerful and fast with a good shot, but his pressing is poor, his decision-making and technique suspect and he doesn’t always seem to follow instructions. Gordon is fast, runs forever and purposefully both with and without the ball, has good touch and vision and tends not to make mistakes.

Same issues we talked about the other day. Would be nice to have better cover for Kane and the defence can be a bit fragile. That said, for all I go on about this line-up being such a good team we really do have some shit-hot players in the wings.
-
When you’re Harry Kane, everyone else is a fucking farmer.
-
Still a good workout this. With the low block the movement needs to be clever and constant - like Rice there - and we need to be able to change the angles with clever passes, which we have done from time to time. was gonna say, looked pretty obvious.
-
Rice slightly on his heels there. Bang. Latvia fucking about with it too much. Again, like we said.
-
Set piece delivery needs to be better. Another lovely move and a dreadful finish
-
Could do with a goal before half time. Ref doing a nice job here tbh. I hate when “minnows” get to do what they like with impunity. That was a cynical grab in a dangerous position, and the ref didn’t mess around.
-
What happened there? I presumed the guy was holding Kane.

Latvia’s manager looks like Tuchel’s Dad.
