TBF, that sounds like a reason to warm to someone.

UEFA suspends Nasri, Wenger.....and Jordan. http://www.uefa.com/uefa/footballfirst/matchorganisation/disciplinary/news/newsid=1608513.html?rss=1608513+Wenger%2C+Nasri+and+Jordan+suspended+for+one+match

I know what you're saying......but somehow I see the CL being the one point this season where they get found out. We've been fairly shit at times this year but have squeezed through. United always seem to get players back from injury when they play us - maybe this time will be different.
-
I hope we get the chance to test the latter.
-
Obviously i'd rather them not be there and i'd rather us to be there still but you know, it's nice for them, they won't get this chance again they can take advantage of it and they did get one of the easiest draws they could have in AC Milan. Aye, but we earned that by winning the group - one that was supposed to be tougher than yours. For the record, the draw I actually want is: Man U v Spurs Barca v Real Chelsea v Inter Shakhtar v Schalke I fancy us to beat Man U more than any other side in the draw.
-
Yet again, the soundtrack in the US is ahead of the pics. I'd rather have them in sync with a slight delay on the pics - it's bloody annoying when there's a chance and you already know they've missed it.
-
No they wouldn't, if they'd got someone in who didn't work out for whatever reason they'd have sacked him and tried someone else. Just like Arsenal did until they got Wenger, just like Man U did until they got Ferguson, just like we did until we got Robson, just like every other club does. We certainly don't have a monopoly on poor managers, and it isn't the reason clubs go bankrupt. Btw, what's your source re it being pretty much inevitable that we go the way of Leeds and Portsmouth? Genuine question, obviously I have a vested interest and it seems to me that we're doing OK. He's being sarcastic. Aha, remembered the context and I re-read it. Not that I'm paranoid or anything

Said it all along - all you needed to do with Lehmann was tread on his toes once at a corner. He'd lose his nut, twat you one then get sent off. I'd do it every single time, and enjoy it, because he was an utter cunt.
-
God, I hope we don't draw Inter. Bad Mojo. Man U please.

While I'm at it, the ESPN schedule here is a joy. NY Red Bulls - on 8 times LA Galaxy - on 6 times MLS Cup winners Colorado Rapids - on twice. MLS Cup runners-up FC Dallas - not on at all. Columbus Crew - not on at all. Fucking fuck you, you fucks.
-
Can't see the Crew doing anything this year - classic "transitional" season. No more Schelotto, no more Frankie, no more Gino Padula. Brian Carroll and Lenhart also off. God only knows what the team will look like, we need a couple of the new boys to step up.

Did you guys get shown the green laser in the keeper's face?

Not surprised with Blackburn being bottom. At this rate they have a good chance going down and won't be able to sign the Ronaldinhos and the Riquelmes. They'll even struggle to hold on to their current Samba star. ...and four of the teams with worse form are below you already - Blackburn, Blackpool, Stoke and Wigan. Beat Wolves (who are still 7 points behind you) at home in a couple of games time and I just can't see you going down.
-
It pains me how little I care about the Europa Cup now. We can't say enough times how shite this format has been.
-
As it should be though. I celebrated like we won the thing when we beat Young Boys. We're not that great, and have done way better than we'd dreamed. It's easy to say that anything past getting to the group stages would have been a bonus, but that's genuinely how we felt. Honestly, if we can keep two clean sheets against Milan then anything can happen.
-
Just got in, bloody hell, 75% Barca possession and 0 Arsenal shots and it's 1-1! Is that pretty much the story of the game?
-
Not watching this game so I don't know how it's going, but that Liverpool line-up looks pretty good to me.
-
I would eat my own s*** to have 3 wins come a week and a few hours this time next week! YOu do realise what you've just done, don't you?
-
It's not that, though, it's the kids, families and floating fans. If you live in the area, aren't that into football yourself but want to take the kids to a game, Orient used to be the cheaper, friendlier and safer option. Now, if you can take them to a Championship (cough) game in a massive stadium with great facilities (provided by the taxpayer) for less, of course you're going to. So the future of Orient disappears. The hardcore will obviously continue to go, but they age, dwindle and die.

Ephedrine is what Paddy Kenny got done for, he got 9 months. It works as a stimulant. The story is that he was worried about his weight. Ironic, as there was a Blue Moon thread last year about how we (Spurs) must be on drugs. Arf.
