Don't think it would make any difference, as those are mostly the teams who would have finished bottom in the old group format. You'd always get 3-4 good sides at least drop in from finishing 3rd, now they play the play-off round in the CL instead and then go home. Like said above, better the devil you know for sure.

Always thought CL teams dropping into the Europa was a load of bollocks but I've changed my mind, they need to change it back. This tournament is going to become dominated by underperforming but overpowered PL teams winning it just to get the CL cash.

Honestly wouldn't fancy Lazio to beat Spurs anymore than Bodo based on the two legs. The plastic pitch/arctic circle thing is such a levelling factor for them. Spurs heavy favourites regardless.

For a club that hasn't really won league titles they place their two UEFA Cup wins on a pedestal. It's the one thing they have over Arsenal too. The idea they wouldn't celebrate it is insane.

Europa League probably a bigger trophy than League Cup (regardless of quality of opposition) and both would have qualified for CL. Not sure I agree but that would be the logic.

I think without Europe and with 3-4 top signings we could genuinely mount a title challenge. Doing it with the current bloated European format to deal with as well is almost impossible.

There's a step where you need to pick it and it's not entirely obvious as it sometimes won't be set on the right one straight away. Also I think can only do it 48 hours before, so perhaps that's why? It's more than that until KO still?

Is it an away ticket? Had that issue with one previously being forwarded by a mate. He had to make sure it was the correct age band/ticket price before sending it and it worked.

He's only been the deciding factor in one shootout for us, where he saved three against Palace and was unbelievable. Forest this season they were both bad misses from Forest players, and Blackburn/Chelsea last year were Dubravka in goal. Hennessey was in goal when we lost to Burnley.

Pope's penalty records in games isn't that great. Transfermarkt has it at 4 saved from 32 faced - although this appears to miss his save from Toney away at Brentford for some reason. So would be 5/33 - not terrible but not top draw. However he did save 3 in that shootout against Palace for us.
