  1. "hahahaha Fabian nearly fell over"
  2. Good shout, I'll keep him for a bit but patience is wearing thin.
  3. Fuck off Branko, nowt wrong with "going forward".
  4. Going forward I think I'm going to get Maddison in for Son, and a Chelsea defender in too. Difficult to know what to do with Salah, is anyone else losing patience with him? Someone like Grealish would have got me far more points lately.
  5. Actually quite disappointed with 79 points despite it being my 3rd best score this season. 8/11 players returned but if I'd captained Fernandes instead of Salah then that's an extra 15 points and had Antonio on the bench with 8 points.
  6. Makes sense as it would be a shame to lose such a magnificent football mind entirely.
  7. "Dear Stiv Booce, As one of our most valued customers..." I decided to claim it was fan mail in a press conference.
  8. Commentator: I think they've decided to just give ASM the ball. Yeah, no shit mate.
  9. The Charnley bit. "we've got a bit of room at the end here, lads"
  10. It's a lot easier to want us to lose once you've given up watching the games I've found Livescore is one of my fave sources of lols these days.
  11. too harsh. We can't buy a win ffs. I know Bruce looks like a vulnerable owld biddy but I'm sick of being made to feel like I should treat him like one.
  12. Every game's a tough game when your manager's a fucking meathead.
  13. Bruce is in uncharted territory now. Usually he'd have been long gone by this stage but the owner doesn't care how low we sink. He's probably not had to linger around this long while the players can see right through him knowing how shit he is.

Yeah, careful guys, don't ever let a smile appear on your face or a positive thought flash through your mind. Idiots Yeah, this but not sarcastically.

Anyone thinking positive thoughts might want to ask themselves the last time something nice happened was like
  16. So they can pay for every other business that’s suffering because of covid restrictions but not football? Don’t get that at all If football clubs claim they can't afford to pay their staff with the vast amounts of money coming in then it is incompetence at best and greed at worst. Any big business that can afford to pay their staff without mooching off the taxpayer should do so. This isn't what the furlough system is meant to be for. I know that’s a problem with the system though rather than the use - I guarantee a lot of businesses that are using it are just increasing profits rather than actually avoiding going bust. I agree it’s immoral I just think football gets a lot of stick but so many’s other places equally or maybe even more taking the piss Fair enough I suppose it's naturally going to happen with football clubs, I know a fair bit about NUFC's finances and the way the club is run just by virtue of being a fan of the club. So it sticks in the throat that we're fucking over future generations getting into even more debt to help institutions that I know don't need the support like NUFC. There are doubtless lots of other companies milking the system as well though, as you say - it's just that barely any layman pays any attention to their finances.

Yeah they tweeted this too, it's cryptic as fuck. Wonder what it all means? Leno > Jay Leno > Tonight Show > expect news tonight, lads

That's what he said: "The pandemic is still here, for all of us, and supporting our families has been a priority when making this decision." aha cheers

You'd have to assume it's been pretty tough for him being the other side of the world to his family with all of the travel restrictions for so long. Would be surprised if that wasn't a big factor in this.

  22. What counts as a moral victory tonight then lads, 0-1? 0-2 if someone sees red? Cos that's all that matters to the flabby spin doctor in the dugout after all.
