I'll keep an eye out for him at leeds. I think he goes up a few levels from where he is currently for us. He's obviously low on confidence. Also important to acknowledge his presence behind the scenes. Him, Burn and Murphy have seemingly done a lot to help the team understand the history of the club and the area.

Whether or not I think he is that RW worldie we all thought we'd be getting, to solidify us as league challengers (I don't, but he is a decent addition)... I'm just happy as I think the teams been crying out for another headgear wearing player since we lost Maxi. Hopefully he gets creative with some toon related patterns.

Probably said this before but getting the cup, CL and an elite manager were meant to be major pulls for players this window. Doesn't seem like anyone gives a fuck about any of them, which is fine as it's out of our hands. Maybe we're naive to the mindset of a modern footballer. But we probably need to swallow our pride and drop down to the next group of players quality wise, where we'll compete against Brighton, Forest and Villa.

Not sure. But our targets are all at clubs who aren’t desperate to sell and/or have competition from bigger clubs for their players. If speed was so necessary, we’d be shopping in a different pool of players.

This isn’t meant to be jab at Howe, but I’m sure he’s OK with it given he is somewhat responsible.

Save money on scouts by just purchasing the best players of the clubs around you. Who also happen to be the same players you tried to buy in past windows. (I’m half joking, relax)

Thats my thought too re:Howe. Every game seems perilous for us. Every cup game, every prem game. Add into that CL. Can't risk any game. I don't really know what needs to happen for some games to be suitable for blooding in players.
