  1. The players are nowhere near good enough. Only one with any kind of potential is Murphy, most others are old has beens who were just squad members of better squads. They need to totally clear out in the summer and bring younger WSL players they can get a hold of and who have potential. They have had 2-3 summers now of building squads that have just had to be replaced as they are nowhere near the standard. With WSL currently not going towards your PSR allowance or whatever it’s now called, they should be going all out.
  2. Nah, that’s who I meant, he was also wanting to buy Everton. Damn it, he should have.
  3. Isn’t that the guy who wanted to buy Everton?
  4. At £40m I’d bring in Samu. He’s young enough to recover from an ACL.

Holy shit, someone on Reddit shared this.
  6. Aye I don’t understand it. First off you’ve got to think if it’s a good look if he turns up, second of all if he does turn up, you have got to realise that he’s doing so for some sort of grift.

To round off their best week of their lives, they have officially invited Farage to attend a match.
  9. They would still have to beat Wales or Bosnia.
  10. Who are they going to buy? You can’t buy Real Madrid or Barcelona. They have had the opportunity to buy Inter Milan, and Roma, and not done that. Chelsea have been bought, they could have thrown money at Liverpool and didn’t, same with Man Utd, Spurs, and Arsenal. At any point they could have just thrown money at buying one of those clubs instead of buying us, giving us money for players, and ultimately having to build a new stadium and training ground. Lastly, as soon as the TV rights move to a direct to the consumer model, the valuation of Premier League clubs will sky rocket. There is no value in selling now. This sort of shit always gets mentioned by the same people whenever we have a bad result and go through a bad time. Richard Keys for example was saying that they walked away during the transfer saga. He said they were going to sell us to buy Inter. He said they were going to sell us the season we finished 7th. He said they were going to sell us to buy Man Utd during their takeover saga with the fake Sheik and Roland Rat.
  11. It’s Richard Keys, he’s been saying this shit since we got taken over.
  12. We have to pivot towards younger players. Older players are more expensive as they have established a level, and there is no resale value in them. We are seeing that with Trippier, Burn, and players we had under Ashley who aged out. No one want to sell say Joelinton, or Bruno, but pretty soon they will have little real value as well, and the frustrations we have with Trippier, and are starting to have with Burn will arrive for those players. PSR means that we can’t keep a hold of players forever, even if they do become club icons and fans favourites. What we need to do is find the balance right, sell them before their value plummets too much, but also have their replacements lined up for less than what we receive in fees for them. Until our revenue is at a level where we can afford to buy other teams players just as they are about to peak and at their peak value, and to keep ahold of them, this is what we’ll have to do, and we are probably about 10-15 years away from gaining those revenue figures.
  13. Iraola is apparently going to Sociedad.
  14. I was just about to say, he’s the definition of a West Ham player.
  15. It’s clear that we need to move players on in the summer, but do we trust him to spend it wisely? He’s constantly wanting overpriced players from Bournemouth and similar. We need to buy wisely, and there is no real value in Premier League players.
  16. It’s fairly obvious that Elanga and Wissa were his first options, they were even rumoured before last season ended. I’m sorry like but it’s not been good enough for a long time. We can go toe to with the likes of Man City, Liverpool, then put in limp performances against the smaller clubs. It used to be a joke that we couldn’t get the better of the likes of Bournemouth, Brighton, and Everton. In reality it’s been a warning sign. Even his biggest defenders on here have admitted that his in game management leaves a lot to be desired. The drop off in 2nd half performances, or indeed performances after getting a goal are telling.
  17. I’m going to say this now. He did not and does not know how much these matters to supporters. We had KO for the 2nd half, and he had us to that fucking thing where we kick the ball to them in order to press them. Under no fucking circumstances should a Newcastle United team be handing over possession to Sunderland, if Sunderland did it we would be laughing. To make matters worse we didn’t even press them when they got the throw-in from it. That fucked me off, and the fact that he’s stood there saying he knows how much this game means to the supporters is a spit in the face.
  18. It doesn’t help that even when we do have a full squad and options to play with he keeps playing the same players when they clearly need a fucking rest.
  19. Not good enough. I’m fucking sick of us not turning up against the smaller teams.
  20. Racist abuse. Hope he’s arrested, and banned for life.
  21. Our players ability to be right next to the ball and not kick it baffles me.
  22. Fuck off with that rule like. It just seems to be abused as a kop out for teams.
  23. Why can’t we just put a fucking corner into the fucking box?
