I don't think I've misinterpreted the banner though? It seems the point they're making is that 70,000 people signed the petition and these lads are wondering where a lot of them are every Oldham game, no?
-
From .com Seriously though, what's the deal with this kid? 23 and has scored goals at all levels he's played at but can't get near our first team...
-
Carver learnt his HT team talks from the King.
-
Was it not a completely different Ferreyra who Genoa were after? Sure I read that on .com
-
Ian, if you can't handle the impending carnage, you should have stayed in Nice.
-
Exactly Exactly what? 70,000 people signed a petition, no sensible person said 70,000 Oldham fans signed a petition. More than just Oldham fans have an opinion on this. Yep. Shows them Oldham fans up for a) seemingly supporting a convicted rapist joining their club, b) assuming every single person who signed the petition is an Oldham fan and c) being thick as pig shit

Well if he does fuck this appointment up, I swear to God I'm going to go to the nearest Sports Direct store and kick over one of those boxes which looks like it's totally full of different sized footballs but is actually only half full due to a strategically placed cardboard shelf hidden from plain sight.

Given our history under MA I don't think anyone could be accused of being pessimistic over this, but to suggest Carver could get the job full time I think is a bit too melodramatic. Surely he'd have got it by now if we were going to go for the 'cheap yes man'? If we're meeting with the likes of Garde, surely that means we're taking this appointment a little seriously? Bit disheartening seeing the news from the Daily Mail, but the French journos tend to have the drop on us long before the British ones. Trying to stay positive on this. If he didn't want the job for 6 months, you'd think he'd have put off meeting us, no?

Metallica - The Garde that failed...
-
Such as? The Mirror. Chron. Daily Star
-
Come on. If you're well off enough to drop £400 on a football bet I'm sure you could've seen it out
-
Hopefully this means Carver is shown up for what he is and we get Garde in next week.
-
Ian Dowie covered in snot. Retard.
-
Look on the bright side, Ian. You're gonna bag yourself a few more Instagram followers

Harsh on Fleetwood mac like. Sensational

Can't look too much into those comments to be honest. Look at tossers like Piers Morgan, calling for Wenger's head every time they lose. Or those Chelsea fans who didn't give Rafa Benitez the time of day when he did a solid job there. Or better still, the fans who wanted Pardew to stay here... For those two comments about Garde and his style of play, there'll be another two around the same time sympathising with him and supporting him.
-
Hoping this comes off, seems like he'd be an excellent appointment. But this thread will be RTG famous when Carver gets the job.
-
We could always try and lure Palace's manager back here? Honestly man, turning your nose up at Garde, really?
-
Parma for me, used to love watching them back in the day. Things have been a little grim since then mind
-
Aye, maybe you're right but the point still stands
-
Imagine if Garde is watching from the stands and we hump them 3-0 then Carver gets the gig with Garde as his assistant
-
Pleased there's some movement at last. Every time I don't check on here for more than 2 hours I'm convinced we'll have made an appointment

Hmmm or Hate anything like this. Suggesting that the Premier League is the be all and end all. Granted, Serie A isn't anywhere near what it used to be but even so. 80,000 capcaity stadium in Milan or 28,000 in Stoke? Playing alongside the likes of Palacio, Kovacic and Vidic - or Crouch, Sidwell and Walters?
