Missed this when posted originally love anything like this.
  6. Is kind of how I'm feeling right now. Strange really, considering how excited I think we'd all have been if, for instance, Pardew left and we got Garde in straight away, I think that would have led to lots of optimism. I just feel now the whole thing has dragged on a while, we're perhaps overanalysing his record, his stats, playing style etc and forming pre conceived opinions of how he MIGHT turn out given that he's the most talked about candidate at this moment in time. Let's be honest though, he's not Pardew or Carver - get him in.
  7. Man Utd http://bolapop.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Paul-Pogba1.jpg
  8. I agree, he couldn't do fuck all, the only ones that managed to stay good were the ones that couldn't be pardewed, Ba, Cabaye, Debuchy, Sissoko to an extent (it's like he's come out the blocks this year and said 'fuck you, you won't spiral my career backwards after last year' I think he's got us that downtrodden we're paranoid to have anyone and just look at any possible flaws instead of looking at the possible pro's The biggest pro any potential manager will have is that they're not Alan Pardew.
  9. I think what became glaringly obvious was that Pardew didn't have a frigging clue what he was doing. We'd set up defensively and still lose 4-0. If you set up defensively and execute a good, counter-attacking plan, I wouldn't have a problem with that if we were winning games. The difference with Pardew is that he was so shit scared of every team we played, talked them up in every pre-match presser etc, I mean what does that do to the confidence of the players?
  10. So are we getting a new manager at any point Club are embarrassingly quiet, as usual.
  11. Not in that sense it isn't but in terms of developing his talent and his future career prospects it is. Maybe but maybe not he's working with the best coaches/players in the world on a daily basis that can only be helpful for him. Come on now, that's flawed. Hasn't worked for Haris Vuckic has it?
  12. Such a wonderful quote.
  13. Name me a young player who came through Madrid as a teenager and actually made something of himself? It's a s*** move really, but tbf to Madrid I'd consider it a s*** move for him to join any of the powerhouses of European football. Probably the biggest club he should be joining at this stage is probably Ajax, anything else shouldn't even be considered. Good luck to him but I can't see this ending too well and the hype around him in general is quite upsetting in general. Carvahal only spent 1 year out. Casillas. Arbeloa. Varane has been handled well. Sergio Ramos joined at 19. Jese Rodriguez is a big talent. The lanky lad whose name I always forget that went to Juventus. The Madrid youth academy is made to look bad by La Masia but it does a decent job. It provides primarily the Spanish league with lots of talented players. I don't think there's a question over the quality of coaching at youth levels there, I think it's more a question of making the 'big step' too quickly. A player like that would blossom at Ajax and develop his game, potentially, far more than he may at Madrid. p.s. Morata
  14. It's going to be interesting to see how things go at Oldham if he does eventually sign for them. Fans, opposition fans, team mates, opposition players - he's in for a proper tough time like.
  15. I'd say "Are you out of your fucking minds? I can't even get in the school football team, you clowns"
  16. Seems so silly to move straight to Real Madrid, lad would have been far better developing his game elsewhere. Ajax, for instance, would have been a great next step for him. Bit of a move from him - best of luck to the lad though.
  17. Sure this has already been posted but from an article in FFW:
  18. Fucking hero. Hook, line and sinker.
  19. It's "carte blanche" not "cart blanch" jackyboy. You're missing a couple of "e's". Maybe you swallowed them before posting. Wonderful
  20. Living in Hull there's a mate of mine who does the same thing for Hull City. Been a season ticket holder for years, he despises Allam and the idea of changing the club name etc. He's boycotted matches but his mates haven't. Feel a bit sorry for him but I guess he's doing his bit like. It's just a day out for everyone else.
  21. Selling Sissoko is preoccupying them
  22. Imagine if he did? And he handed over to his son. http://s3.amazonaws.com/digitaltrends-uploads-prod/2013/12/Kim-Jong-Un-7.jpg
