I voted No on the poll but I genuinely don’t know what to think to be honest. Ashley is a business man, in business terms you don't get to where he's got if you're a fool. He might not have a footballing brain but he’s not a fool. Pards will surely be amongst the lowest paid managers in the league probably with a heavily incentivised contract, but is it bound to be performance based? 8 year contract or not, to go from a 5th place finish to (hopefully) 17th in one year is appalling, despite Europa League involvement, we played fringe players for the majority of the group stages anway. Plus, the idea of us buying foregin players on the cheap to sell them on at large profits will surely only work if these players are performing, and they’re not under Pardew. I live in hope that he’ll be given the boot at the end of the season and be replaced with a more competent manager. It baffles me why the 433 we played so well with last season is no longer used. Elliot Debuchy Taylor Colo MYM Tiote/Perch Anita Cabaye Ben Arfa Gouffran Cisse That team, in the same system as we used back end of last season would surely destroy QPR. It baffles me that he insists on finding playing time for Jonas and Shola. 60-70 minutes gone and we need a goal, do we bring on a bright young homegrown lad who’s scored for fun in the reserves and U19s for a few years or a slow, lumbering Shola? It's embarrassing.

I'm so fucking angry I feel like punching a horse.
  9. Why do you never wear your glasses on the touchline?
  10. Need the win here. Would be a travesty if Papisto's goal wasn't contributing to 3 points.
  11. Fuck! Must have missed it! Almost word for word too
  12. The one occasion he should have backed off and didn't.
  13. Another striker would have meant we'd been spoilt. Forget "should have happened in the summer", we've had an unbelievable window, not just in terms of qualityplayers in vbutuunprecedented in terms of value too. 10/10

Was talking to my brother about this earlier. Don't remember being thiseexcited about a signing for some time.
  15. We've spent years bemoaning the likes of Owen, Duff etc who earn big money and show very little commitment and desire for the shirt. Remy was clearly motivated by money but Gouffran said he was 'proud' to be joining our club. Certainly the kind of player I want to see wearing the black and white
  16. Who says its still going on? we don't usually announce deals and have medicals on the same day. I wouldn't be surprised if its announced tomorrow morning ala Debuchy. It seems my attempt at humour has gone down very badly.
  17. This medical is taking a fucking lifetime. What's the bet we've persuaded Sol Campbell to come out of retirement as a cheaper option and Mapou fails his medical because he has a cold.

No, somebody is suggesting that you're talking out of your arse as it's easy to sit in your nice warm living room rather than sitting in the freezing cold, having spent a lot of money on a season ticket only to see an idiot turn a win into a defeat. Whilst I've never been a fan of quotes along the lines of ‘armchair football fan’ and the likes, I do believe it would hurt more having paid hard earned money to watch some of the shite we’ve put on this season. I’ve not been able to attend a match for a couple of years now, living in Hull and having 2 young kids and a wife who works Saturdays isn’t ideal for a football fan. I’m not a Geordie, my Grandad was and made sure I grew up supporting his team and despite putting up with so much shit over the last 20 years I wouldn’t have it any other way. I digress, my point is that it hurts like fuck the way we’re playing at the moment and I’m not a born and bred Geordie like I imagine a lot of you are, I’d hate to think how the true Geordie ST holders are feeling if I feel like this about our season. The quote above “It's easy to sit in your nice warm living room rather than sitting in the freezing cold, having spent a lot of money on a season ticket only to see an idiot turn a win into a defeat” I can completely agree with, in the right context
