Because despite all the shit going on...we're an amazing football club Exactly. And we finished 5th last season and got into Europe, there are all sorts of reasons. We have some class players as well. A bad season doesn't instantly erase anything good about NUFC, despite what reading this forum might suggest at times.

Yeah, tend to agree. I think it was mentioned in another thread (or this one) earlier that last season the team picked itself. Now he's had to cope with injuries this season, he's proved himself to be clueless in picking alternative line ups. The more this show of shit continues this season the more it seems to be that last season was in spite of Pardew, not because of him.

"Which one of you is TaylorJ_01?" "Me" "You're a c*nt"

Same here Jonny to be honest, got a massively rough ride from the English press when in charge of the national team. May not have fared too well at Forest or Wolfsburg but has shown some great ideas at Twente. Would prefer Martinez or Adkins but if we're talking Pardew or McLaren, there's no contest for me.

This clueless cunt still here? FFFFFUUUUUUU
-
Stick with Pardew and I'm worried, make a change, ANY fuckingcchange and I believe we'll be safe.
-
Adkins or Martinez in a heartbeat.
-
Ashley is often portrayed as a 'quiet but ruthless businesses man' in the media. Hope he proves it tonight or tomorro . I'm at the stage now where I'm not even allowing myself to be concerned at who the replacement could be, we need toget rid of Pardew and we need to do it now.

It's obvious what's happened here, the Nancy management have clicked 'stall' instead of yes/no. We'll be waiting another week on this lads.
-
Still a couple of weeks left but we've got to make something happen. Appreciate we might have put time and effort into the Remy deal but there was no guarantee he was going to join us. You'd hope we'd have alternatives scouted and lined up. A relatively out of from Cisse with Shola and Ranger as back up is a horrific thought.

What did Tiote do like?
-
Agree. Would love to see him back in England, at anyone but Chelsea. And Man City. And Liverpool. And Spurs.
-
Disappointed but we've still got a squad to be immensely proud of and we're back in Europe
-
Fucking annoying seeing all these kids behind the reporters on SSN. The Spurs fans are absolute twats.
-
Wouldn't surprise me tbh. They're desperate for another striker. Would love to see us going for Berba. One of the very best strikers when he's got the ball. Excellent player when he's in the mood but I think one of the main reasons we were so successful last season was the work ethic of the players. Berba doesn't have this in my view.

It's just covered my entire screen with Giggs.
-
Not sure if this is Giggs or not but Afellay to Schalke on a 1 year loan.

It's fine for now, but a poor season and it'll have backfired on us. Aye, but like Ian W said above; there are probably very few other managers around that would work with Ashley under these conditions. You could question Pardew's pride and morale, but as things stand, this way of running our club seems as if it's working to a suprisingly great extent. I'm happy with it for now. I just hope it doesn't turn ugly when Ashley decides it's time to cash in for sure. We've gone three windows without selling any player who hasn't expressed a will to leave. Should be about time within the next year. They're my thoughts too. Seems ok for now with a strong looking XI but when we're competing on 4 fronts with a thin squad we're asking for trouble really. We could easily have an up and down season, finish about 7th/8th and our better players may want to move on. I'm sure they're as frustrated as Pards' and us with the lack of new faces.
-
Agreed. Much rather play for Fulham. Fantastic club and actually seem to be building a decent looking team there. Dempsey has fucked up. Liverpool reportedly interested, his head turns and he sticks in a transfer request, Liverpool seemingly not back in for him so he could end up at someone like Villa.
-
Come on man, surely you know this isn't Pards' doing. His hands are tied.
-
Dempsey has fucked up big time there.
