  2. Depends. If he could stay fit then of course he'd be worth a punt on reasonable wages. However, there's a huge question mark over his knee (?) isn't there? Hence the failed transfer to Stoke City. If he agreed to some sort of contract where he got paid less while his knee is knacked or if he was out long term we could cancel his contract then he'd be a great signing. Not going to happen though Would take him on a pay-as-you-play deal definitely. Was one of the few plus points last season for West Ham.

  4. Yep. Offer them 12 mil and Perch. If they want £12m cash, they'll probably want £13m + Perch.
  5. James Perch. Hands down. Ok, Nolan will be. Vice captain Colo.
  6. Fuck me. £18m for Jordan Henderson. Is there any wonder there are so many foreigners in the Premier League?

I'd say I don't like the thought of him coming back to haunt us but based on his time here, last season especially, it doesn't seem likely to happen. He might have the talent but he doesn't seem to have the dedication, commitment to want to do well and, most importantly, appreciation of the support he has had so far. Sadly it seems his priorities are fucked. 1. Wannabe gangster 2. Professional footballer Shame.

Imagine being a Premiership footballer and still going on holiday with your parents. Man, I'd pay the fuckers to stay away.

Really good signing for them like.

I would much rather have a quick, mobile striker in a 4-3-3 than a big target man. As Dresden said, someone who can drop deep, look for the ball and bring the wide men into play. The signing of Cabaye is a fantastic one as, with Tiote linking defensive and midfield, Cabaye is very much an energetic ball player who will look to make late runs into the box, always a good trait in a midfielder.

Indeed. I think I saw someone mention yesterday that Gameiro isn't in the mould for a lone striker but if we play a 4-3-3 and have good movement, he doesn't need to be a big, strong powerhouse. Movement is so important for Barca and, to an extent, Arsenal who also don't have a big powerful striker spearheading a 4-3-3.

Aye, I noticed that too mate. Some of Cabaye's set up play looked brilliant. One through ball in particular caught my eye. It was one of those where the opposition just did not see it coming. Class.
  18. Best kitmaker around at the moment. Love their simplistic designs
