That's what I'm saying, he's a free squad player so we're not shifting him any time soon. If we were to shift Joelinton I think Ederson would be a good replacement. Slightly different player but good luck finding another Big Joe.

I Just don't see how Ederson comes here at all. We've got Bruno, Tonali, Joelinton, Willock, Longstaff & Miley currently who can play CM. Only way we bring him in is if we shift two of them, and we're not shifting Longstaff or Miley due to the squad reg rules for the CL. Would like him if we lost a 'purple' though.

If we keep signing young players like we have been and some of them come good / are sold for Minteh money then the transfer fees we're paying won't matter anywhere near as much.

Newcastle winning a cup that has been won by shite like Man Utd in recent times is not a miracle. Nor is finishing 5th in the Premier League. It's a very good season which always had the potential to happen given the calibre of manager and squad of players we have. If you think it's a miracle then you are underestimating how good we are.
