  1. Stop reading everything on Twitter and taking it as gospel
  2. I just hope young Trafford is with us for a while and our defence doesn't become too leaky.
  3. Burnley will have allowed us to speak to him.
  4. Hopefully (if we pull off this ridiculous triple swoop) we've identified someone we can still afford to bring in as an understudy at the very least. Other teams pick up PL ready players for under £10m, there's no reason why we shouldn't be able to do so as well. Hell, we've done it in the past with Schar, Lejeune & Fernandez, all good players for us and picked up relatively cheap for the time they were signed.
  5. Arrivals will not guarantee exits - this is interesting. So if we have exits that surely means room for additional signings?
  6. That's the least exclusive 'exclusive' I've seen.
  7. But if that sort of thing is doable then why aren't other clubs doing it? It makes no sense as to how they're getting away with seemingly shady business practices but everyone else is happy to sit back, barely even toeing the line.
  8. Aye but all UEFA can do is issue a fine. If you have billions but are only able to spend millions, a few thousand pounds isn't going to deter you. I suppose Juventus got their ban didn't they, but Man City's was overturned. I assume Juventus hired the wrong lawyers.
  9. Southampton utilised him in a variety of positions, which is funny given they looked like they did not know what they were doing tactically for large parts of last season. He'd be fine coming here as this seasons Lloyd Kelly type signing to cover in two defensive positions.
  10. We're not signing 5 players who have played a lot of Premier League football and will improve our first team squad, surely. Oh, and bringing in two red hot prospects on top of that.
  11. I wish we were doing stuff like this, signing other clubs 30 something players for a year or two whilst we wait for either one of our own to become ready or we find a better option over the next few windows.
  12. They could stop voting for these bollocks rules to start with. My original point wasn't really aimed at Bournemouth tbh as they're clearly on the up, moreso Palace, Fulham, Brentford types who seem happy to do fuck all every season and will gladly fall in line when Liverpool and Spurs start flapping their gums at the prospect of us, Forest or Villa attempting to break the stranglehold of the cartel.
  13. Aye but you have to look to grow beyond that, otherwise what's the point? At least Bournemouth are doing better in their second stint in the PL than they did in their first. They are showing growth but are now gambling with it, knowing they're very unlikely to be relegated anyway.
  14. It's a pathetic existence, let's be honest. These clubs are continuously branded as some sort of plucky geniuses when in fact they're just complicit cucks who are happy to remain on board the gravy train with little to no ambition beyond that. Fuck off back to the football league where you belong.
  15. We can finally sign Tagliafico
  16. Did Davide Shitton play fullback for Poocastle
  17. Do you negotiate further with the barman?
  18. Came here to ask this and found it already had been. Surely he'd be attainable and at a good price? Dennis Wise scouting tells me he looks like he'd be a good addition if we're looking to shift Longstaff & Willock. Gets about the pitch, combative and has a good touch on him, nowt flash. Almost what I think Lewis Miley could become, a bit of a disruptor and a headache to play against.
  19. That shot on 14 seconds is giving me 2014 flashbacks
  20. 22/23 was Willocks last good season, if you're relying on him in 25/26 that's a massive gamble. I like Miley and think he'll be a great player one day, but he's not ready for a lot of football just yet
