It is very simple. As a fanbase we hate being dictated too by other fans. If someone says to boycott others will go on principle. Personally you should go when it is thick and thin. I don't want any of the ones who left back. But no one is being dictated too. They are being asked not to go. The fan base clearly needs to unite and move in one single direction, if you don't like that direction, you have the opportunity to go to a TMG meeting and express your opinion.

Sterling is definitely being picked on, but what is the evidence it's racially motivated? Genuine question, like what is the language being used in some of these "articles", I always thought Sterling was disliked (by some) because of the way he left Liverpool. Of course they’re “entitled” to do what ever they want, it doesn’t mean it’s good for the team though. I have no problem with our fans berating players in the past who haven’t put the effort in, but jeering a player who worked hard and didn’t hide is counterproductive. It also looks bad on the club. So many ex players have negative opinions of playing at st james’ park, do you think it’s more likely or less likely to encourage future players to decide to join us? Our fans have somehow developed a reputation throughout world football as being the best in England, it’s important to maintain that.
