This is what he does though - buys failing brands on their last legs and sells their gear so cheap in his shops that loads of fuckers buy it. Would imagine that aside from the brand already being known there's an appeal in the company having certain infrastructure in place, such as warehouses, factories and staff. Oba was well into his 30's mind...

The Shola + Ba combination didnt work but it may against worse opposition than top 4 teams (even in "crisis") but i would prefer to see how Ba links up with Obertan. Whether it would be too many new players integrating at once i dont know, but his pace is a weapon we dont seem to have anywhere else yet.

Simpson was in good form when he first got back from injury, maybe eager to impress but his "i refuse to commit" nature really shone through for a period. He is physically in good shape and if we just sorted his mentality out, he would be decent. if it is £5.5mil, i cant help thinking this is payback for the £35mil for Carroll...if you bump it up to £10mil for Jose and £30mil odd for Carroll, it makes a little more sense...if Jose was english mind we would have probably got double that...
