To be fair, i am interested to see if he can still cut it for a couple of seasons. Its goals like his QPR away and Boro away ones that show he has that instant pace off the line...he can nip into gaps and we know he can finish. He is a great stopgap, and 30 isnt that old, but tbf, ive seen few 30 year olds with as much pace as he has, who are we gonna get that is better like? No capital outlay means we need to spend whatever we do get in wisely, surely centremids are more important really?

The age old decision eh?

tbf itd annoy me if Ambrose cost more than what we sold him for (which is likely to be more than the £1.5mil) though with admin for Palace who knows, but woulda been helped if theyed gone down, who else better than us woulda been after him? wages would be championship level too i assume, though maybe he is in that annoying level of abaility between championship and premiership (see Earnshaw and Chopra)

away games being affordable

hes bored probably nothing to do really with season over He's got the most important 3 months of his life coming up as far as I'm concerned. He's got to find us 5 players (minimum) who are going to keep us up and his reputation as a manager will be decided on how he does. He hasn't got time to chit-chat with the shithouses in the press. conflicting views with you lot like! i lean a bit more towards the former...but in reality a little closer to the middle...

The thing is now, being a team that is playing for survival, we will have a mentality where we will scrap away. I could be wrong, but in the past, did we ever play with just one upfront when away? We've done it this year when we've pissed the league! Nolan WILL cause goals, and whether it be with him running onto flick-ons from Carroll, or whether he knocks some onto Lovenkrands when chasing a game on the break, he will be key. What we do need is a younger/better Smith. Smudgers start of season was decent and that is when Nolan really kicked on. The bigger question than whether Nolan will be effective next season is will Routledge? We need a quick nippy right winger. If Routledge is stopped with ease, they can double up on Jonas and we're fucked no matter how decent Nolan plays...

so we can expect a Shola Legend dvd soon after? itd be a bit short in comparison like...

Lets lay this one to rest, if you sat anywhere other than Level 7, youd have heard how loud their fans were...i went with me bro who hasnt been for a while due to work, and as i sat in the leezes below, i could hear them very very loudly, and it was just a sea of orange. I was really impressed and would put them up there withthe best of the season like...we were canny pants like but again, because level 7 was loud and alot of people here (inc. myself normally) sit up there, it does drown out the noise if you sit there and clouds opinion... tell me im wrong like but thats my opinion tbh...

the day he signs a contract extension is the day i buy a season ticket

Was liking them playing "Cant Take My Eyes Off Of You" at half time... the Colo chants were well sung last night, though still my personal favorite Nolan chant only got aired one time i think (No Limits..)
-
In our squad alone... tbf, people do go "yeah Nolan is great" cos of his goals...they dont see him play, or "play" then theyed know...
-
imagine Nolan's body coming out of the screen at us in 3d? would scare the crap outta me...
-
You must think we're getting fuckloads for Taylor like...
-
Agree 100%. I was singing his praises after that PNE match, but he genuinely shouldn't be near the first XI. http://web.mlsnet.com/images/2007/12/05/7HJCpY6K.jpg would be good right back like, even gets forward more tbf

having watched it on tv, i thought you came across loudly, and we came across better than we have normally this season...kicked into gear in the 2nd half as we were waning near the end of the first half... every club has a few shite fans, and you tend to focus on the shite ones, but you yourself seem sensible and seem to know what teh craic is. by the way, your thoughts on Boyd? i loved him in teh league below, and this season he seems to have stepped up even better. was surprised when you got him on loan like, but has he done well for you?
-
I am a massive fan of Shola and Zlatan, but surely he is more comparible to Eto'o...especially his finishing, and goals-game ratio...his goal against Sheff Wed at home prime example that is a better unrealistic comparison

memories! "and remember, no funny business!" just thank you for the nostalgia...

and according to Charlie Nicholas, the scorer is; "Jooorn Carrooooooooooooo!"
