This was something we all knew seasons ago

Other than a seriously good patch of form a few seasons ago, I don't think he's really more than a top 7 defender on his best day.

League form has been awful this year and needs to be prioritised as soon as possible. We barely beat Fulham last time out, imagine how bad it would be now if we didn't win that game.

Disagree, Howe is worshipped as he's a legend and the best manager NUFC has had in the Premier League era but criticism (when warranted) should be discussed.

If Elanga and Ramsey were bought mainly on his call then I would really question his knowledge in transfers to be honest Things like playing Burn at fullback were absurd 2 seasons ago never mind now Like I said earlier, if his usual 4-3-3 with his usual preferred personnel doesn't work then he has no effective alternative whatsoever and it is quite concerning he hasn't figured one out by now this far into his time here. That second half just stunk of desperation and cluelessness.

This second half is showing his plan B is hopeful rather than anything well thought out and trained/drilled adequately if his usual 4-3-3 with his preferred players isn't working. We have been playing this same style for long enough it is no wonder when we face teams that know how to play against it.

Excellent defender and all round footballer from what it looks so far He's earnt his place in the starting line up and should stay there It's between Burn and Botman for the second CB spot if we're playing a back four

Pope is what he is and will always be what he is Brain dead moment from him there but remains our best option until we get an elite keeper I don't personally think Ramsdale is that keeper but he does deserve some game time if Pope was in really bad form that went more than just one game.
