  1. So if we were paying a bit more you'd be less confident?
  2. When did West Ham change their logo? Jesus it's terrible.
  3. Alli's an arsehole with a brain, Shelvey's just an arsehole.
  4. Shelvey just stuck a few mil on Wisheres transfer fee, not that we're gonna pay it.
  5. I think it's totally unnecessary.
  6. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/07/25/expected-goals-xg-does-show-man-city-should-win-premier-league/ What an absolute pile of wank. Cheers Dave. It's a load of shite but at least when we lose sometimes we'll be able to say that we should have won.
  7. Wtf is expected goals? Can honestly say I've never seen that stat before. I'd love to know how they work out Palace 1.06 - 0.49 Huddersfield.
  8. For fucks sake like. I've just been on the phone with me brother, basically laughed at him for twenty five minutes for being fleeced on a dog collar.
  9. £1.35 lolz that's that settled then. I'm sure me brothers paying about thirty five quid a month. And he'd meant to be the bright one!
  10. If it's what my brother uses to locate his dog, they ain't cheap.
  11. Is it normal to really dislike that Knockaert bloke?

Don't get me started on the Shearer should have joined man united shite.

    St James' Park

That's it like. I can slate Newcastle united, the squad, the owner, whatever. But if for example some armchair manc at work has a pop he'll be told to shut his yap.
  14. Cars parked on the dog track at Chelsea?

    St James' Park

You do need to go back to go up. What you're showing is it doesn't always have to be supported from the ground. Any expansion would encroach on that new building and block out any light, so would never be approved.
  16. I can remember the BBC losing the rights to show highlights on a Saturday night, probably around 1985. And for a whole season the only thing that they could afford was basketball. So we had an hour's round up of what was happening in the NBA. No fucker in Britain had even heard of the NBA. I still watch basketball to this day and that's what got me into into it.
  17. Saint & Greavsie. Roy of the Rovers. Melchester Rovers signed a kit deal with Nike when I was a kid and you send off postal orders to buy a shirt. Sadly this was during Thatchers reign, doubt there was too many shirts sold north of Watford.
  18. Jossys Giants. I remember a folk used to stand outside rumbelows or radio rentals, whatever they were called, watching the scores come in on the tellys in the window. I was metro centre with my mates just before Christmas 92, we were away somewhere. Twenty to five there's a crowd of about 200 outside a tv shop whatching the vidiprinter on grandstand then this massive cheer went up all round metro centre, folk high giving and that. Just checked 2-0 away to notts county.
  19. Talking of unique grounds, Burnden Park had a supermarket at one end.
  20. Mitre Delta was used from 1986 on but doesn't sound like you are referring to that. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-s5zmzecy8tQ/T-N5A4-FBoI/AAAAAAAAGFU/Jq1Orl9HnBE/s1600/mitre-delta-1000.jpg I've just spent twenty minutes on Google images but I can't find a picture of the one I mean. Best ball ever, tango azteca.
  21. Ray Houghtons phoenix from the flames. ? I think it's been took off YouTube due to the IRA man.
  22. Minerva Supreme? Nah that's not it, the one I remember had a roughly circular logo.
  23. Sondico Robson gold shin pads. ?
  24. Can anyone remember what match ball we used in the mid 80s? Some really obscure brand that nobody had heard of and no other club used. But they were really prized and one kid I knew had one.
  25. I think we did away with them nets for euro 96. We just kept the tournament ones for the next season.
