Hernandez could have easily landed on his feet, but he chose to fling his left leg out like a drunken epileptic. It's not a penalty because he felt he needed to convince the ref.
-
Impressed me tonight, the way he went into vidic.

Could play for anyone you soft cunt. (redknapp)

Proud of the lads tonight, that is all.

I'm not arsed anymore. I just hope that if he wants to go it's done as early as possible into the transfer window. We've lost better players than enrique before and survived. It's just a shame, because if he decided to stay then we have the start of a really good young group of players.

Dunno, it just looks spot on to me. Really close to the pitch, steep stands, no gaps etc, ok i'm rambling now.
-
I@ve never been to Loftus Road, would fucking love a trip there next season.
-
I'm tempted to get a season ticket next season, after a three year gap. Not sure why i feel the need to broadcast this. Anyway, for some reason i'm leaning towards the milburn after years in the gallowgate. Hmmm.

Since Greaves, i reckon.

Agree with pretty much all of that. But winning the world cup would shut the "he's not as good as such and such was" brigade up. Maradona carried a team of average players on his back in '86. If Messi did that with Jonas and co in 2014, and continued to bang 50 goals a season in the meantime then i don't think anybody could deny he's in the top handful of players ever.
-
If the fee for enrique is north of £12mil, as reported, then i don't see why not.
-
Excellent captain and a fantastic goalscorer. We'd be fucked without him.
-
If for aguments sake Messis career ended this weekend, then in ten or twenty years time i think he'd definately be talked about as being up there with the best ever. Depsite being only 23. (is he?) As far as i'm concerned Diego Maradona is the greatest footballer of all time, and the obvious standard by which to compare Messi to. Again, in my opinion of course, not there yet. But not far off.

Is that ryan taylor or smith in the background, i'd be more concerned about their tactical awareness tbh.

Back for next week, like?

I think a lot of people seem to be over looking the possibility that perhaps Jose just wants to leave. Liverpool or whoever else are prepared to offer semi-serious cash for the lad, and even if the owner / chairman decide that he's central to their plans and they intend to invest the £35mil to take us forward - if he wants out there's not much we can do.
-
I'm renowned for having my finger not on the pulse, but what's wrong with Shola? Did his house get burgled again?
-
I'm not even arsed anymore. Mike wanted the cash, Andy wanted to go, fair enough lets just get on with it. Fields of fucking anfield road gets right on my tits though.
-
Clueless in the final third today. Say what you want about Nolan but when he plays shit happens.
-
To be honest, i'm just focussing on us. I'd love Sunderland to go down, i'd love Villa togo down too. But they'd just be the cherry on the cake.
-
In their final 6 games Sunderland will play against just one team in the top half and against 4 teams in the bottom 6 After today, half of our remaining fixtures are against top six teams. * I think we're safe, but I'd say we've got the harder road to travel when it comes to putting further daylight between ourselves and the bottom. * - "remaining games" observations based off legally published list of already occurred fixtures. Any resemblance to an actual fixture list is entirely coincidental. You could look at Sunderlands situation completely differently though. They're playing absolute dogshit, and they have to face 6 sides who are all fighting for their lives.

Your man's a bit old like, at 28.
