Really! My neighbour would probably top himself if this is true. You better keep an eye on him then.... suicide watch! Too right, get the popcorn in!
-
He's lost the #2 guard. That's a #3 for sure.
-
What's his hair like now then, i thought it was permanetly clipped at #2 all over? Would absolutely love to see him in charge at NUFC someday, after he's served his apprenticeship obviously.

if sunderland offer a silly price they'll sell. SSN reckon villa will only be paying £8m up front, so by the time the pay the fine for yesterday and SuBo gets a mcdonalds breakfast their won't be "silly money" available.

SPL games are nowhere near as one sided as you might think, forster has been tested loads during his spell at celtic. Despite a couple of early wobbles he's performed admirably, so much so i'd love to see him get a crack in out team. Unfortunately that means harper stepping aside.

Thought i'd add to this thread. I bought the home shirt from sports direct a couple of weeks back, only when i got home did i notice the sticker on the front was a full inch higher one side. As though it had been stuck on my a blind person. Maybe i hate ashley too much, he can't be selling seconds / rejects can he? Surely not.

Massive risk for Villa if you think about it. Put all your eggs in one basket, say Bent got injured and missed the rest of the season. They go down and owe upwards of £12 mil in the championship.
-
I would say he's missed 15 penaltys too.
-
Excellent! Hopefully this transfer can fuck both clubs up. I would love to see villa go down.

I remember thinking to myself yesterday "if i was a mackem i'd want to stab this fella". But i'm not a mackem so who cares? We were due a decent biased commentator, after craig burley single handedly talked us into the championship on setanta.

When your season is won and lost on where you finish in regards to another team, you really need to have a long hard look at yourself.
-
Unbelievable turn around. Even during his lowest times with us, he couldn't be as bad as people were saying, there had to have been a reason why we paid ten mil. But no fucker in this world could have predicted how good he would become.

Proud to be a mag this season, tbh. More than last season, in fact more than any season in well over a decade. This grooup of lads have a collective heart and a fight in them we haven't seen in a long, long time. Punching above your weight is a fantastic feeling. Can't wait for BArfa to get back. BUZZIN, as nile would say.

I expect him to be named imperial emporer of the universe, at some point in the next few years.

Yup, Socrates the Brazilian is almost as wise as Socrates the Greek - a deep thinker not just about the game but Brazilian politics and society. Naturally, the powers that be despise him, but he is a very admirable man (and was quite a player in his day) I seem to remember him smoking about 40 a day too. Not that that has any bearing on his intelligence.

Barry Horne, Socrates, Ian Dowie The Socrates?

I'm concerned about this "do him like a dog" thing. Is that what they get up to down there?

FA reject unfair dismissal appeal from NUFC for Cheik Tiote

Anyone? It's as bad, in my opinion. He jumped into the challenge. The only thing that saved rafael was the liverpool player jumped out the way. -

Stevie g's was worse, and the commentators reckon it was a harsh red. I'm changing my mind on the tiote challenge. -

The way i saw it, tiote jumped for a ball that was about 3 or 4 feet in front of the player. And as he got the ball the other player and tiote and the ball collided. 15 years ago, no problem. But in modern that is a red card. But like i said i hope it looks better later and more importantly i hope the fa see do us a favour. -

Anyone that thinks that deserves a red needs to have a long, hard look at themselves. Fair enough. I'll give it a better look later, i hope i'm wrong and it was a fair challenge. -

I need to see it again. The picture i was watching wasn't great, won't go into that, but i'm amazed some people thought it wasn't a red. Maybe it looked worse. I'll watch on tv later. Either way i can't see the fa over turning it. -

The players were almost coming into the tackle from the same direction how the holy f*** is that dangerous Not saying it was particularly dangerous. What i am saying is that in modern football if you go into a tackle airborne, with your studs up, then there's an excellent chance you're getting a straight red. -

Left the ground, studs showing, i can't believe we're even talking about it. In modern football it's a red card. -
Not worthy of a thread - 2018 FIFA World Cup edition
henke replied to OzzieMandias's topic in Football
Absolute knackers! Their bid claimed they could cool the stadia to 28 degrees, so they'd be able to host games in june / july. If they can't do this then the world cup should be taken from Qater and awarded to a country with a realistic bid.
