If Ben Arfa was to go on a stadium tour today, as a paying customer. Then go for a pint in shearers bar, again as a paying customer, could we get into trouble for that?
-
I've been up since 7am, could i fuck sleep! Not with another 50 pages looming.
-
So he basically just turned up on the doorstep? I fucking love this guy! He's a geordie legend before he's even signed. For a year anyway.
-
I work shifts. At the start of the week i was fortunate enough to be at work, and therefore spared this shit. Now i'm hooked. It's painful. Off til next wednesday. Oh sweet jesus why can't i just put the fucking laptop down?

That french bloke wants to have a word with himself, his english is shocking.
-
I'd promise him a role as anything he likes! I've just seen last nights goal. If we don't sign him i'm gonna be fucking gutted.

I honestly wouldn't have minded paying an extra tenner for a decent quality shirt. I'm not knocking the designs one bit, they're not exactly briliant but they're good enough, it's just the quality. The shirts are shocking.

Mine turned up this morning. I have been trying to wean myself off football shirts for years but it has become a bit of a ritual so I allow myself the current England and Newcastle home kits. Shocked by the poor quality to be honest. I've had better quality fake shirts from dodgy markets in Morrocco. I had a proper look for myself today. And opted for the 3rd shirt. I like the look of the home shirt but the material is so thin you could see my nipples through it and the patch on the front is shocking. I honestly wouldn't have minded paying an extra tenner for a decent quality shirt, it's just a shame we're now bargain basement in every aspect.

I know it's a theme on here, but i honestly don't believe milner is that good. When we sold him i thought we fleeced villa. Fair play to the lad he's gone on to have a couple of cracking seasons, but martin oneill has had countless players do that. Stan varga ffs? It wouldn't surprise me at all if moving to city sets milner back years.

He sounds a right wanker. Although that would probably work in our favour, as the "big" teams maybe wouldn't touch him. If we sign him, which is a huge if, he could be either the best or worst signing we've ever made.

I've just got in from work expecting to be trying on the new home shirt. The wife was meant to be buying it for me today. But she reckons it was that bad she wouldn't spend the cash on it. What gives like, is it really that crap?
-
Where are yous all watching this at like?
-
Good goal? i suppose they all are like.

A true legend of the game. I hope you're smiling down on us this season bobby. Are any of these documentarys on youtube? I remember seeing one years ago where sir bobby was being interviewed by gary lineker. The pair of them were proper choked up when they were talking about 1990.

If ben arfa signs for us i'll eat my hat.

We're gatting a £3-4 million rated player for nowt, how can that be anything but fantastic? Even if he only manages a few games we could sell him on for a tidy profit.
-
I wouldn't have kenny miller fucking gift wrapped.
-
The left side wouldn't see much of the ball?
-
I think for half a century we've had fuck all else to celebrate, so we had to go looking for something. It's bollocks to be fair. Squad numbers only came in in '93 i think so before that we had to have a number nine, regardless of how good / average / shit the player was.

Bellamy's a prick, no doubt about it. But he never said anything that wasn't true. I blame souness 98% for the whole thing. He knew if he wound him up then bellamy would talk himself out of a job. I'd have him back in a second. In fact if i heard he was coming back i'd bat one off, even if i was in thorntons at the time.

Fergie averaged better than a goal every other game, was a decent striker in his day.

Telstra dome (now etihad stadium) was the same, football is not meant to be played on an oval. We were behind the goal and about 60 yards from pitch, when the ball was up the far end you couldn't tell what was going on. The stadium was only 75% full but they had the roof closed which helped the noise levels a lot.

I've seen maybe twenty a-league games down under, and a few in the old nsl. They've spent quite a bit on the stadiums these last few years but newcastles energy australia stadium used to be my favourite, it was grass banks at each end and you just sat in the sunshine drinking beer. Totally different experience to anywhere else i've been. Probably the best stadium though would be telstra dome in melbourne, it was absolutely huge and had the very strange experience of containing three sets of fans. You had the away fans at one end and two sets of melbourne victory fans, those of white / british origin and the rest. Known as wogs, they'd include mostly eastern europeans. So you had the home fans singing songs against each other and winding each other up which was a bit bizarre.
