Their time wasting today was possibly the worst I've seen. It's part of the modern game though, off the top of my head Stoke and West Brom both tried the same shit at our place this season. Shortly after we scored today the game was stopped for nearly three minutes while a mackem feigned injury, and they were doing it all afternoon. Going by my local 3g pitch, the playing areas are the same but rugby pitch has a 10m in goal area slapped on each end. Looking at that picture of SJP I think the pitch is right at the bottom end of what's legal, with shortened in goal areas too.

I'm actually really keen to go there.

Haha cheers, shocking stadium for football that. Trying to think of possibilities for those areas. I've seen pitch side bars / drinking areas at mls grounds that look spot on. With some decking that sort of thing would have been great at West ham but our laws wouldn't allow it.

I'm watching Lavante v Valencia now, Lavantes ground would be your bog standard St Marys, Riverside affair if it were British and had a roof. Looks miles better without. I think the reason for Stade Velodromes roof was UEFAs new regs on tournament stadia. Which is shit cause major tournaments are in summer and you don't need a roof.
