Agreed (with Sewelly about Man U cast-offs) . I never said we should sign him (did anyone?), just that he would get in our first XI as he is a considerably better RB than Simpson.

Aye, and O'Shea always preforms decently for Ireland too. His best position is RB imo and he is quite a bit better than Simpson. Him at CB against Taylor/ Willo? Much of a muchness.

Simpsons backing off is pretty bad, worse though is that every one of his first touches is cautiously backwards. Every.single.time. It's infuriating to see him in acres of space receiving the ball and his subsequent first touch is backwards. The guy plays with fear.Fear of the ball, and i hate that.

Tiote- Matudi- Cabaye does not sit too well with me, I'd imagine/ speculate that they would all sit too deep and occupy the same spaces. Now, Tiote- Cabaye- Martin....

Busquets is most certainly world class ffs, you do not become a corner- stone in the midfield of all- conquering sides like Barcelona and Spain for no reason. And that alone is enough without getting into his many qualities as a player.

Fair enough like, I kinda agree ( with Ronaldo)but I would like us move on to move on to building something around genuine talent tbh, rather than these ' big personalities' (well as they have served us lately) I'm just a bit fed up watching mediocre unexciting players. Ah well.

He also said he is going to play HBA behind a lone striker. Additionally we all know Nolan or Barton wont be dropped. So I think Pardew is looking at something like a 4-3-3 with Barton Nolan and Tiote making up the midfield 3. HBA and ( wide player ) supporting the new striker. The fact that he is looking for a new wide player seems to suggest that he knows Jonas is not productive enough to start in this formation (the front 3 anyway). I hope the mystery man is Balázs Dzsudzsák, he plays left or centrally and is certainly a big deal in his home country(like those Journos on twitter said). Dzsudzsák is also productive enough to play in this system ( 38,11- 47,17- 49,24) If Gameiro is the 1st choice new front-man it looks quite (sexily) lightweight up front ( Dzsudzsák, Gameiro, HBA)
