  1. Is Robert Madley the worst professional ref? He was horrendous when we where in the Championship, and he's still horrendous now.
  2. Ipswich beating Southampton after 3 minutes.

"HMS Piss the League" lasted 2 and a half hours.
  4. Despite being 4-0 down, spent the last 10 minutes clapping and singing "Diogo" continually and carried on after FT.
  5. "Steve Bruce Reject" was more to do with Bruce that Schar, we knew under Rafa that Schar was quality, Bruce just loved that Football League grit of Cairan Clark.
  6. 3-0. Reijnders looks incredible.
  7. He's back on the pitch now It was a rolled ankle that looked rough initially.
  8. He's just picked up a quite nasty looking injury.
  9. I mean, by all accounts that is a general rule we have, but it doesn't mean the odd cunt can't sneak in the back door.
  10. Lovely goal from Man City. All made by Reijnders.
  11. Fulham get a last minute equalizer against Brighton.
  12. Good start to the season for Rob Edwards at Middlesbrough.
  13. That 16 year old Monga just scored for Leicester.

I didn't realize how good of a start they have, their next three after this is Burnley (a), Brentford (h) & Palace (a).
  15. Obviously the only player I pick from our game today was the defender that ended up getting sent off.
  16. I thought Barnes both looked pretty good tbh, Barnes put in several good balls into the box, and had that really nice cut back to Gordon in the second half, and Elanga looked really energetic, continually beat his man, the final product was lacking, but it feels like he'll be a quantity over quality player where by the laws of average he'll create and score 15 goals over the season. Stating the obvious but a striker and we win that. Still a point at Villa Park will probably look really good come May. So i'm taking the positives and moving forward.
  17. Frustrating game, as we played so well for the most part, just couldn't find that final ball, or finish. However going into the game, if you offered me a point, it'd have snapped your hands off, Villa Park is one of the toughest grounds to go too, so anything from it (especially given our record there) is a good result. The fact there where a load of positives from it, and we where the better team bar a 10 minute period at the start of the second half, means we can go into Liverpool with a bit of momentum. The fact we failed to score won't change the Isak narrative, but fuck him, and that whole situation.
  18. Apparently Schar is the only Newcastle player to score at Villa Park in past 12 years. We've scored 5 goals, three have been by Schar, and two have been Villa own goals
  19. Well we've dominated, limited Villa to literally nothing, and have created some guilt edge chances, we look so sharp. Gordon has actually done well at CF, he's giving them zero time on the ball and buzzing around in a way Isak probably wouldn't, but the chances we've created is where we are missing the traitor. Overall an encouraging start. Villa will likely still win, but there are a bunch of positives from this game.
