When Wissa signs, its going to be weird for a little while with their being no noise about potential incomings. It feels like all summer every day there has been a player or two the press have been hammering on about
-
I would hate to do one of these press conferences, each reporter has asked basically the exact same question about Isak, its ridiculous. I think there has been about 3 questions not involving him

So according to the great people of the Newcastle Online predictions league (28 people in total), here is the likely result: Villa Win = 18 Draw = 9 Newcastle Win = 1 Aggregate Score = Aston Villa 56 - 25 Newcastle United Average Result = Aston Villa 2-1 Newcastle United

Fly... From Bournemouth to Brentford. Have a fucking word

I know it's pedantic, and I genuinely don't mind Downie, but "Taking first steps in the Toom" is incorrect, he's been up here for Villa

There has definitely been a narrative shift this week, a fair few pundits have been coming out and saying what Isak is doing is wrong, and he should be ashamed. It also seems the Ornsteins and Romano's are starting to have their tails between their legs, that Ornstein clip from yesterday, he seemed genuinely a bit shocked that his character was being questioned and was being held to account.

I hope there isn't a massive over-reaction when we get our annual 3-0 trouncing

I've not seen the penalties, but it looks like a few that were missed had the taker doing a stutter step, that seems to be in fashion these days. Is there actually any evidence to suggest that its beneficial? I get that it's to try and deceive the keeper, but you just don't get enough power on the ball as you would with a normal pen, so if the keeper goes the right way the chances are he's saving it. We need more Chloe Kelly's in the penalty world tbh.

Spurs lost? That's hilarious.

If PSG are up for this, I feel like they could destroy Spurs here

For what it's worth, this is massively disingenuous, he wasn't implying that's what the club are going to do all. He was talking it though and just gave his opinion of what he would do if Isak where to follow through with the threat of going on strike post window, and was just making the point of what would be better, Isak staying and kicking up a fuss all season, or going with Wissa and Gordon as the striker option, and in his own opinion it would be the later.

That literally checks everything we needed in a CB. Pacey Tall Can play left or right. Can play in a three or a two Can make defense splitting passes What's the catch?

It looks like an absolutely stunning place mind.

I saw " Dominic Calvert-Lewin: on verge of sign..." On the homepage and my heart sank
