Am I the only one thinking a window of Ramsdale, Thaiw, Elanga, McGinn and Wissa without any major outgoings would actually be pretty good? I know it doesn't raise our ceiling at all, but it significantly improves the floor, which is all important this season.

As a side note, I do think part of the reason why everyone's emotions are so heightened is that we now live in a time where we are literally bombarded by information, from thousands of people all shouting into the void for clout and worth, with an apparent need to get ahead of the rest, so every single piece of information of a particular transfer, or proposed transfer gets shouted from hundreds of people, with some having a clear agenda and others just making things up. All of that leads to a situation where it gets peoples backs up, and make it feel like everything is so suffocating. Honestly, just switching your brain off as much as you can and ignoring everything, and just seeing where we end up is quite cathartic.

That Fulham game was horrendous, me and @Lenny where in Italy and we managed to convince some pub owner to show the game despite neither of us speaking Italian, we ended up drinking a fair amount and getting a bit irate at it. Later in the week we met an English couple and they mentioned how the only other Brits they'd come across that week where some drunk football lads, which happened to be at the same pub, time and date as that Fulham game and how thankfully we where nothing like them.
